First a redo of the original logo.
Next Clan Wolf IN Exile redone.
And my favorite unit in Clan Wolf, Beta Galaxy
And here is the cleaned up Wolf Head for anyone who wishes to use it on other logos.

Crescent Hawks Insignia (I think someone else did one of these, but I wanted to do one of my own)
Generic Insignia, I did this for another art piece.
This Crescent Hawks one is amazing. Perfect in the spirit of your thread: Old school BT with aesthetics that hold to the roundels of aviation.

Not every single insignia on the thread is necessarily canonical. Some aim for it, others are conjectural, and still others are completely fanciful.

I am having a tough time putting together a more appropriate insignia for an older unit I ran, the predecessor to my Armageddon Unlimited, known as Equal Opportunity Destroyers -yes, the current commander of EOD has my permission to use the name here in MWO, if he still is-, which I intend to play as in the new BattleTech game by HBS. I need to ask your advice about the following...
The above idea is mine, but the visual is not what I feel it should be. I don't know if the following will help or not, but, here it goes...
- The gold is just background. I have a bitmap version of this, and I intend to make that transparent, if I continue to use this one.
- The blue and red around the field are Wolf family colors.
- The four arcs of color are supposed to represent (from top-to-bottom): black for space, blue for atmosphere, brown for ground, and green for sea.
- The sword is supposed to represent EODs ability to deliver the fight to any part of a world, and in space.
- The stars represent EOD in combat in each of those, the experience of the unit.
- The blood on the sword tip represents the sacrifices made during various contracts between 3002 and 3025.
Any suggestions? Would you do something differently?
I also don't know if the history for the unit would help or not? Let me know what you think, please?

Didn't see this get posted, must have gotten lost in a stack of notices. I think it's a pretty solid design all-around. Most of the changes I would suggest are relatively minor: I'd namely suggest different hues of blue and green (blue should be a bit more desaturated, the green should be a bit darker/bluer, and I would suggest the possibility of using a different shade of brown perhaps closer to red (but not so red that it would take from the blood on the blade). I would also suggest the possibility of making the stars yellow, unless there is a symbolism I'm missing.
