I feel it is good for the 11 spectators on your team to watch and learn how to fight so they last a bit longer next game.

It is funny when the comments start. "Die already!". "Suicide!". Look up at score 11-2 and realise your team just crumbled like a cookie in less than 5 minutes (usually)!

I would pick Conquest if I could. Unfortunately the 23 other guys rarely agree with me.

On Topic: People that keep fighting and capping: more power to you. Shutting down in Conquest or Assault: meh. Wasting everyone's time for no gain in Skirmish: I'll happily betray your position.

Any complaints by dead players about people that still fight are below responding to. My fondest memories are games where Rambo1337Kratos bitched about '**** team' early and we still turned it around.

Yah I don't even know what my KDR is. I'm in a light scout that routinely gets blasted during movement to first contact, so I'm sure its really really bad.

Kind of my point...people keep picking Skirmish, because it's mental midget combat ezmode (tactics and objectives seem to intimidate too many players) and thus are creating their own problem.

If they'd man up and try something beside skirmish they might actually have a way to counter their own problem.

I never played Skirmish prior to now because I prefer tactical variety over go go death ball.

I preferred assault to skirmish, at least until they added turrets. Now that turrets are gone it's my favorite mode again.

And conquest would have more potential if there didn't feel like there was always that one (usually two) idiot(s) that would trundle off in his direwhale to cap points. Hell, used to be if I was solo queue and Terra or Alpine came up and they weren't Conquest my computer would lose connection to internet.

I never hide, I never shut down. In this match (River City Skirmish), I stalked and engaged 4 separate targets after the score was 0-11. I traded 4 alphas with an Atlas and then disengaged, then shadowed a Timber until I was in optimal weaps range and shot him at least 6 times, then I played a circle dance with two other heavies, cutting in and out between them and landing shots on their rear torso. The only time I stopped was to check Seismic. There were plenty of opportunities to kill me. And I'm not required to stick around and trade alpha's while the rest of your team zones in on my position.

You don't like that, then vote for Assault next time.

Report the abusers and move on. That's what I do anyhow.

Well, my "Get 3 consecutive Skirmish games and quit MWO for the day." rule is still very much in effect.

Not that I've been playing MWO much lately given that 2287 Boston is so much more fun I almost forgot to get some sleep one night last weekend.

Okay back on topic... your team mates would not have jeered at you if

A.) Your shots were epic (e.g. you were going for open side torsos)

B.) You at least got a kill.

I'm talking from experience... as i usually pilot a light or fast medium and i usually end up the last mech..

You dont have to report for execution but by all means please do give the spectators a good show... i cant even remember the last time i was jeered for being the last man...

Finally, you play oceanic... and there are only a few of us that pug that puppy... you probably have built up a nasty rep with the playerbase there because of your actions (lets face it that x/10 thing means you arent that perceptive)...

Most everybody knows that im a troll but guess what... when im pugging in oceanic voip more than a handful of puppies follow my orders...
