I guess i've been quite negative on this thread. Complaining about pretty much everything that was posted, that's it kind of too small, that the ballistic hardpoints placement is daft, that the missile dynamic geometry is rubbish with those bloody blocked out missile tubes...
But don't get me wrong. I complain, because i care. And i do like the end-result of the mech, but that's why i complain - it could be EVEN BETTER.

Now for the Cockpit preview? - I like it. Might be the most open IS cockpit yet, which is probably a good thing.

Mk IV is a 3137 design, whereas MW4 version is a Mk.II. technically identicall to good old Mad Dog.

Well, they are working. Still there are only 2 images in there, one with one circle, the other one with two circles. The third one is the kill counter I think, or heatsinks.

Edit: I just rewatched it. There is actually a third image in there. Still the left side of the cockpit looks strange.

I really like the view! it reminds me of the Griffin, a mech with excellent viewing space. it probably has the best view of all the IS heavies i'd say. if it was more "unseen" style then it would be like the Shadowhawk but more like a mailbox slot.

Also those gunpods look great from the seat.

I think PGI have really undone themselves with the Marauder. The mech design/models were always a strong point of MWO, but the Marauder is simply superb. I like how it's reckognizably the Marauder, yet re-imagined to fit into MWO's lean and mean aesthetic.

And I love how all this design work immediately feeds into the new BT game. It's a great time for MW/BT overall.

Also, I cannot imagine the pressure they felt to get it right -- the fanbase/forumites being as passionate as they are, imagine the *hitstorm had they butchered the veritable crown jewel in any way.

there's two separate badges. you only get the second if you got the collectors.

also, yeah, was a bit confused, but in my defense, the Mad Dog Mk. II, III and IV have the same arms and chin turret. And it's specifically said the Mk. II was made in IS factories

The standard pack gets the "Viking" helmet (vikings didn't really have horns on their helmet) The Collectors packs get the "Viking" helmet, plus the C-bill badge.

How is that false advertising/doubling? O_o

probably around the same time IS gets OmniMechs and our version of all the other weapons tech you guys currently have.
