With the new quirks around the corner (listed here: http://mwomercs.com/...-pts-4-updated/), if you could choose one, and one only, set of quirks to receive a last minute change, which would it be?

For me, I'd be most happy to read that the quirks for my first favorite mech in MWO, the AWS-9M

Mech: AWS-9M

Why: It is actually being nerfed! How about that! Also further pigeonholed to ERPPCs, which are bad, bad weapons, while nerfed for lasers.

Direction: More general quirks, and more ST structure. The 9M is the only non-hero AWS that can carry a really large XL, facilitate these builds a bit by ST structure, and allow flexibility by more general energy quirks. The brick will never be OP in MWO, have no fear PGI. :)

Please refrain from political faction balance mudslinging, thanks.

Body-count:
AWS-9M: 2
AWS-PB: 2
VTR-DS: 1
VTR-all: 3
JR7-all: 1
FS9-E: 1
MLX-all: 1
ADR-all: 1
GRF-S: 1
RVN-4X: 1

I need the Dragon Slayer to have at least 20% ballistic cooldown quirk. That is all. Especially since Gauss CD is being increased to 5.5 seconds, on top of charge time.

PPC quirks. Especially projectile speed quirks.

Don't try to paper over fundamental internal misbalances on a mech to mech basis. Also, making projectiles go different speeds between different mechs actually makes aiming worse

Durability quirks for all Jenners, please. The JR7-F hasn't been T1 since the Firestarter was introduced, so please stop quirking it like a T1 mech. The new hitboxes haven't been kind to them either.

Pretty Baby is badly hardpointed too. That thing just needs a complete redesign.

The PB quirks I don't mind actually. It loses some energy quirks but gains more missile quirks and tbh is has too few E hardpoints to make good use of energy quirks anyways... also the E quirks are now fully generic, something that my LPL/MPL/SRM Babe likes better. :)

The Mytn Lynx is a pretty sad little robot.
20% less ERML heat would at least let it do something better than the Cheetah.

Mando too. Those poor 25 tonners.

Adder to get anything. That thing is trash in game, sadly it is my no.1 Mech because of great visuals.

Mark all sets and hit "DEL"

Give PB a faster ballistic reload.... oh yes and give it a ballistic hardpoint

This is probably important just for me, but i don't understand why the Sparky lost it's +20% PPC speed quirk, and I would like my favorite poptart back.

It's odd that one of the comments to the quirk rebalance is "In many cases, distinct Quirks for the same weapon type have been merged into a single Quirk."
And when you look at the -9M they have made the quirks even more ERPPC-centric (and perhaps slightly worse too).

I play the -9M and -8Q quite a lot. The change in ERPPC velocity from 1,500 to 1,560 might not make much difference, but it will be interesting to see how the -8Q will behave with the change in PPC velocity from 1,375 to 1,650. It will feel odd that the PPC shots will travel faster than the ERPPC shots when I switch between the mechs...

Aye, these quirks move against the general trend of this quirk pass. Have a feeling that they try to restrict generic heat bonus to max 10%.

I totally agree about weapon velocity! Makes it harder to switch mechs when a PPC is not a PPC... I wish they had left velocity alone and let weapon balance play with that one.

Not sure why they decided to go down on the Grid Iron so hard, Gauss is already geting a nerf and the energy cooldown has been vanished... when was the last time you saw a GI in game? or actually doing well...
My ninja edit would be to unify the cooldown to 30% or give back some of the energy cooldown back (duration got a buff so that's something) I want my AC10 3MPL build :(

Though, PPCs with a velocity of 1,650 m/s... that's just shy of Gauss velocity. The -8Q could turn into a much meaner machine from that 50% velocity increase alone.
