Do we really need these kinds threads every day? What makes you more special then the rest of us who have been patiently waiting just as long or longer, or those who have already shown financial support for the game? I hate checking the forums now because every other post is about people speculating on beta invites or people crying because they don’t have a golden ticket to play on a game that hasn’t even been released yet. It’ll most likely be out around the end of the year, but before that you have no more right to it then anyone else. Quit crying and quit speculating. Anticipation is good but so is patience, maturity and dignity. You’ve waited longer for new game releases and movies, stop this nonsense. It’ll happen or it won’t. Worst case scenario you’ll probably be playing a COMPLETE game by Christmas with many more choices in modules and mechs.

I have sour news for you guys, beta testing isn’t the same as early access. Beta testing is for ironing out the kinks and glitches so that when the game is launched it’s a much more enjoyable experience. Most of the time beta testers aren’t really playing the game they’re testing, they’re doing stuff like running around rocks or jumping on/off cliffs to see if there’s any graphical errors or coding errors where a player might get stuck. That’s what we did when we were testing World of Tanks, and when we tested World of Warplanes we weren’t flying around shooting at each other we were trying to fly through water and objects or testing stall speeds and altitudes. The times when we were given the go ahead to blow each other up were few and far between, and even then that was controlled to check damage models. To be completely honest I wish I hadn’t beta tested WoWP as it kind of ruined the game for me. You guys are in a much better position.

As much as I hate the troll posts, I do tend to like some of the quips and memes that come out of them. Plus this is one of the better online communities so nothing ever gets real nasty, well unless it is 'pro'.
