Yeah sure. Tell me where and when. Watching your video for silken to get an idea of what's going on. Not trying to be an arrogant ***, but you made some pretty questionable decisions in just the first game I watched.

As far as the test for LRMs goes, I am going to assume you want the LRM team to have some LRMs as basically backup weapons. 1 or 2 launchers each with just a ton or so of ammo? I'm interested to see how it works with the new tighter groupings, but I'm pretty skeptical. They simply don't do enough damage for how spread that damage is and how easy it is to avoid.

EDIT: Finished watching the games. I'm guessing your point here is that you can get away with a lot of things in low tiers that you can't get away with when you're up against more skilled players? Not really sure but I think that's what it is, and you're right.

As far as drop calling, you do a decent job of herding pugs, but that isn't really how drops are called at a comp level. The drop caller is really more of a navigator than a micromanager, and each player has to make their own tactical decisions based on their position and the position of the enemy and the team's overall strategy. The strategic decisions are made for the most part before the match ever starts, with the dropcaller just choosing between reaction paths that have already been practiced beforehand and each pilot making a personal decision on how they can best implement themselves into that strategy.

You play and shoot pretty well, and I think you could be a damn good player, and maybe even a pretty good drop caller, but you do seem a bit arrogant. If you're looking to break into the higher levels of play, you're probably better off checking your ego at the door. Lord knows there are enough egomaniacs at the comp level already.

TheSilken probably has a free teamspeak we can all meet up on. There are several public ones as well like NGNG. Our team TS is private so I can't give you that info unfortunately.

If I may comment the LRMs as backup weapons is innefficent, event if the team took that setup. I'd rather have dedicaded or hybrid boats numbered at 2-3 max. Those boats would be running tag and engaging only at 500m on mobile target and longer on stationary or suppressed targets.

Considering you had dropped your armor to half to run lrms a few weeks ago I figure these guys need all the help they can get to test your crazy theories. Consider me in.

This looks like it should take place Sunday the 13th at around 5:00 pm EST. Whoever ends up on the LRM team will be asked to show up an about an hour beforehand to work with Envisage on his theories so that they are ready for the match.

Edit: If someone wants to record (or stream whatever you want) from the spectator position just let me know.

I was recreating the longbow :-) Unsuccessfully.

I can show you video of lrm assisted DOMINANCE however... but lets be real about this, what we're about to DO, is nothing like what I have video of :-)

I can't agree on lrm boats however. I have only ever seen 1 person use LRM boats in competitive btech, and that is when they have a gunnery of 1 or 2, which can't be replicated in this game. given a standard skill level across the board I find boats to be too easily maneuvered upon. Especially considering the existence of the ECM murder ball.

I'll be laying out the strategy before hand. I may even prepare a video of it so that it is communicated easiest, and thus the prep time can be used to check questions and concerns as well as suggestions and tweaks etc.

I'm gonna make a new thread for this 12v12 now that we have sufficient numbers, have a set date/time, and have some rules ironed out. That way it is easier for everyone to see it. Maybe a spreadsheet or two also.....
