In WOT though, get on a good team and follow some semblance of a plan and the game is fun...then there is the other 98% of the time.
Here's hoping that the COD-wannabes and "omglolno0bL2p" types stay away, cheers

But my post said (shortly )
-Don't have the patience to teach how world works to naïves people.
That of course the devs have the game in their hands for now because you are in beta, but it will fall in the hand of a company as soon as it will be released (still I hope no because I liked the gameplay of the only MW I played and I don't want this game to live and die like the average f2p)
-Then I said that Douglas Reichel has no right to speak about WoT because he/she is so low in the game that he /she played it for less than 3 hours (from tier 1 to 2 take about three battles, 10 min each). Then explained him he were wrong on Premium WoT mechanism wich are for now the same than in MWO prem account to progress faster and founder package similare to premiums tanks (way more expensives than prem tanks but your choice). Please check my stats and tanks I own, Alzoc EU server.
-That fans (any kind) make me sick because they base their oppinion on nothing, and spitt to the face of any people who disagree with them.
So I think I'll just wait the release of the game, because I said it I like the gameplay and will laugh when the first p2w item will come.
If you want to dicuss further with me please do it by mp because if it's just to troll (for you Jade Kistune) by crying to troll it's completly out of topic
Once again have a nice day and sorry for the english
What if it doesn't become Pay to win, what then?

This isn't Battlefield, Steel, this is Battletech. Completely different game. Sure, when you buy Legendary you get your pick of the 'mechs, but they are the kinds that other people can make as well. The only difference I can see is the skin, which is a type of dark blue/grey and the Catapult's beak. Battlefield is for twitchers, Battletech is for those who enjoy tactical fighting.

He should be better in that mech/tank/w.e b/c he's played more games in it, has a good loadout that compliments his skills type, all that jazz. Not to mention people that don't pay anything get to ride on the backs people who invested money into game. Someone has to feed the programmers energy drinks right? Dev. team can't live on just the love from the community, maybe the souls, but not just love. Double win!
So congrats to all that can afford a computer to play this game, but not be able to shell out 60-100 bucks for something that you will enjoy for the years to come. I applaud you!

Who says I can afford any such computer? I built this machine over two years ago, when money was vastly less scarce

In either case, I doubt this game will become Pay to win. Sure, with real world currency you can...
Pay for Decals and Stamps and images on your 'mech, I think from your own files.
Pay for special paintjobs
Pay for maybe a cool canopy cover
Pay for music to be played when you're kicking ***?

Any game on Facebook
Any game on Aeria
Dungeons and dragons Online
Aeon
Everquest 2
League of legends.
World of tanks.
DC Universe
Sword girls
Age of conan
These are just off the top of my head, they all have in game spend money stores, some so you can get through the game with a require item, speical ammo, speical characters, speical weapons and armor (OPed too), spiecal cards, or even so you can access your money you saved up ingame.
I know most are say Pay to Win is like getting something another can't get without the money, but it extend beyond that when the game hampers you if you can not contune playing the game as orginally intended.
Only way it is True FtP is just have a cash shop with cool decals and models personally...

I wouldn't say models.. Unless you mean what I think you mean, then by that extention something like what they did with the founder's mechs, right? Beak on the Catapult?

I would kinda take off LoL simple to the fact that ALMOST (only thing you really can't buy with IP are bonus packs and boost) everything else you can buy with IP, which means that everything someone willing to get instantly, if a player works at it, can get it as well ^-^;
