Correct, like 4-5 months old or so, but probably the best ive done against real good players. Your reference gave me a chance to resurrect that pic. And i have never really bothered with the other screen so cant say how i did there. Sadly with my ping issues due to being on usb wifi i was only able to get that 2600 damage game i originally posted and no better.

Now talking about that game, our side started 0 -6 down after some people decided to go in one by one along the Right door on Grim Portico to get pounded by evident enemies on the ridge. I was disheartened by that but decided i should at least try to rally the IS troops in chat (not all that friendly at the start perhaps) that we needed to group up focus targets, go down the C side (left door) and that we could beat the reds. Sure enough a few others agreed with what i said, the ones with similar decent scores and the others simply followed. And it was tough rallying from 6-0 down but the more the game went on the closer it was and with typed commands from me we were able to win a game that initially i didn't have the highest hopes of winning.


Oh and PaulFliP - travesty you lost that game :-(

the funny thing about that sick match score of mine is, i did not even know of this event before, someone told me afterwards when i was pounding CWI with my battlemaster 1s who survived all 4 waves. I mean, the fact that you get lower matchscore with dying is ofc too tragic, but then, dealing a reasonable amount of damage in one mech is a feat that you can rarely do. especially if you are defending or the match is being close. Steamrolls happen ofc too. I am not really paying much attention to damage or score anyways, if you go for win and kills you only hit CTs on clanners, or sidetorsos for mechs with XL anyways.

I would also like to thank Ace Selin for giving me the idea to spread the love and give out multiple awards rather than just one. He gets a basic pack too.

If I have the funds, I will do this again for the next event that is focused on FRR territory and/or primarily focused on fighting those filthy, filthy clanners; whatever that event may be.

*Notes to winners: If you want to wait until the next “unseen” is released to claim your prize that is fine. The caveat here is that I budgeted for the $20 basic pack price point (and similarly the $55 dollar price point for the full pack plus bonus mech). If PGI jacks the price on the next unseen pack (presumed to be the Archer) and the basic pack is more than $20 then you are SOL and will have to select from the existing $20 packs. To get your prize please send me a PM via the forum message function and let me know what mech pack you want.

Lastly, it does not look like Dabs on Deck is terribly active on the forums. I will try to get a hold of him in game, but if anyone seeing this post happens to ‘run into’ him, please let him know to contact me.
