2. I want to hear how the game compares with WoT in regards to grinding.
There are no mech tiers in MwO, you dont need to grind a tech tree from tier 1 to 10 to get the best tank on a tree development line.
You can save credits and go straight for the mech you like.
They want to implement something called role warfare, in wich a light and fast mech can be as usefull and rewarding at scouting for targets to is team as an assault at dealing damage.
Comunity warfare will not be implemented at launch, when it arrive a few months after launch then you can either join a faction or a merc outfit. I think merc units will work like clans in WoT.
Major diferences, premium mechs are just normal mech variants with a diferent skin and cbill earning boost. No xp boost and no unique variants you can only get with real money. No premium ammo.
Premium acount gives 50% XP and cbills boost. XP is used to develop your pilot tree to unlock modules to be added to mechs, experience in a given mech chassis will augment its eficiency.
You dont need to spend XP to unlock a new mech, you only need to get enough ingame money (cbills) to buy it.
I think that community warfare when introduced will allow factions to fight over possesion of several border planets.
As a WW2 and battletech buff that plays WoT (no clan wars), i can say that i am eagerly awaiting for this game to launch.
