Today we get steam launch (December 10th) ... great we get a lot of new players hopefully. They will most likely not be great at the game because of the steep learning curve but hey it is always great to add to the population and find players that will stay, BUT they will be new (noobs) in the definition of tier 5 easy kills for awhile.
On December 15th ... we get Clan IIC mechs ... some are predicting they will be the most OP mechs in the game due to clan technology and nor restrictions in building them. Which means great weapons, changeable engines, and ultimately over powering.
So what does this come out to be?
We get a **** ton of new players that come in and get there asses kicked by new mechs that are pay to win until they can get them for C-Bills. Thanks PGI for allowing us to going seal clubbing the new coming population.
Now mind you this will only be for tier 5, 4, and 3 players.

*If you get hung up on the pay to win, then you need to re-read the entire statement, "pay to win until it is released for CBills" whcih more accuratly would be a paywall as some one stated later (cdlord)
*If you get hung up on no stats of the mechs, that is because this is all hypothetical. It really depends on how good or bad the IIC mechs are. If they are balanced or under performers then most likely not issue, but if not then there most likely will be problems with the addition of anger from new players due to steam launch. This is my main point and it is completely dependent on things we have not yet seen.
*Also read this in light hearted fun because until we truly see the new population and see how good or bad the new mechs are. I intended this just to be a thought of discussion and some laughs at the possibilities.
