the locust is extremely delicate in most conditions, to off set that, i say all she needs is to be faster. anything as weak and small as this mech just needs to have at least that going for it.

Personally, if they'd just get around to killing speed tweak (like it needs to be), then I could easily see giving the Locust a 220 engine cap and making it the fastest mech in the game, as it should be.

On the other hand, in the current situation I could certainly see increasing the engine cap to 200. That creates a minimal difference in weight; because even though the 200 is 1.5 tons heavier, you're also getting to ditch an external heat sink, giving back some critical space as well as removing 1 ton of external heat sink. Thusly you only have a net gain of .5 tons (minimal difference for most builds).

Funny enough . . . with the speed tweak nerf (and hopefully future death) we have no mechs that hit the 172ish kph speed cap at the moment. I have no problems with the Locust being buffed a bit in engine cap to get that speed back.

I am ok if they kill the speed tweek. I just wish they let us do as we please with engine sizes then. For the love of God; Do Not make the mechs sound like they are being throttled back. It makes them feel slow

This game in general could use a little less speed across the board. We've got maps that are shoe boxes that a Locust can cross in seconds.
