IS Mechs with Clanweapon and Clan XL Engine and as much as DHS as possible? Posted Image

Looks OP to me. I hope they balance these Mechs.... Posted Image
WHICH IS mechs ? ... The IIc are CLAN mechs, and in a few years ( Gametime ) the IS gets Omnimechs like the RAPTOR too !

Being able to share STD engines between IS and Clan is interesting, I wonder if that's intentional or oversight. Either way, it will save me some imaginary dollars here or there I'm sure. Confirmed XLs are not cross-compatible?

XLs are not cross-compatible becuase, and Clan battlemechs use clan tech. to add, Clan STDs = IS STDs.

Dont know if intended, IS STD and Clan-STD engines are the same. Had 2 IS STD in the inventory and can equip them on IIC Mechs :)

Standard engines are standard engines. There's no such thing as "IS STD" and "Clan STD" there's just "STD".

XLs are different because the Clan XLs use fewer crit slots. But it's irrelevant because you cannot equip an Inner Sphere XL on a Clan IIC Mech.

IS omnis will disappoint. Look at the Raptor, a 25 tonner with locked standard armor and XL175. I don't see it being very good, it has more weapon slots than a Spider but will be slow.

The only new tech IS might actually want is Light Fusion engines, and possibly the various gauss/PPC sub-types.

Had a feeling they would be Posted Image It'll be like my Shadow Hawks before they got a little extra quirk love this most recent balance pass. Except they will have double the firepower Posted Image

Kinda glad to be honest, the Hunchback IIC was always intended to be a glass cannon kamikaze mech. Die with honor, taking as many enemies with you as possible. I think they're a rare mech that will need weapons removed from the standard configuration, to give them enough speed to survive.

That said, I won't be shocked if they end up with side torso structure buffs down the road. They shouldn't need much else, aside from maybe ballistic heat gen quirks for the prime configuration and maybe accel/decel and torso twist speed buffs that most mediums enjoy. Overall though, they need to balance the massive offensive capability for its size somehow :)

Torso twist in the hunchie is useless for the most part and yes, I downgraded to twin uac 10s for more range/survivability/ammo

I made mine for several packs a half hour ago or so. Maybe their updates to the site is causing you some issues. Give it another shot.

So ya, the IIC mechs are pretty squishy. Some armor and or structure quirks would be nice. Especially the Hunchies. You poke for a moment too long (literally) and you lose a torso. From full front loaded armor to nothing in a hit or two.

Found a glitch in the mech bay too. If you have an XL engine installed and all the critical spots in the side torsos filled, and then remove and later try to re-add an XL engine it won't let you do it until you free up three critical spots in each torso...like for an IS XL engine. (The Clan XL's take 2 crits in each torso.)

I've been sharing my XL engines among my IIC mechs so I sometimes remove them. When putting one back I always need to remove something first even though there is space available. Once the engine is in, I can re-add the stuff I removed. Not a huge deal...but it is broken. Posted Image
