It looks like a Black Knight that went to the gym, LOL!

it's the stage between black knight and awesome. Someone should make a mechwarrior evolution chart.

:(

it looks ugly to me, i'm sad i bought it. It doesn't look like a Warhammer anymore.

Glad i'm not into Rifleman and Archer. Because Blieprints and First impressions look so good and then you get this battlevictor.

so cancel order and tell russ why.

And be sure to red the new CoC before you do.

Personally, I still like it, but it can be improved a bit. My biggest gripe is the snub nose barrels from in game to concept art. To me, snub nose takes away from the Warhammer look and feel.

I like MWO Warhammer. Head reminds me more of Trebuchet than Banshee, btw.
And "below the belt" area could be not that flat (black plates could use more details). But i still like it.

I like the new Warhammer much AND its close to Alex conceptart. For me, the Future mechdesign of battletech is in good hands at pgi! Look at the Highlander IIc, its a Beauty

Hrmm... canopy does look a little... unresolved. Reminiscent of the Quickdraw's head, actually.
Also, I think it should sit lower between the two side torsos. Arms look better than the concept
art, though (for me).

Honestly, I think overall it looks gorgeous. So much so that I should have pre-ordered, but you
just never can tell what is going to look stellar, and what is going to be a dud...

Looks like you can gain some elevation on the PPCs if you put in small lasers or mediums first.
The secondary hardpoint rests on top of the first. Very cool.

Really liking the attention to detail on this. Even the paint schemes look great. Huh...

Looks amazing, excellent job to the artist and modelers. If you dont like it, why dont you call PGI up for a job and prove you can do better. But we all know thats not gonna happen, you wouldent get hired because you would complain about having to call them in the first place. HAH.

Three things from Big Benn's HQ:

First, I think over all the WHM is well done. The build, as others have pointed out, follows the original model well enough in terms of posture and Lets hope PGI gives the WHM the PPC quirks it deserves. :) Actually, I'd like to see a +50% velocity increase for PPC's and a +20% range for the SRM6.

Second, I'm really appreciative that PGI scaled back the arms from protruding so far forward. It would not have followed the rest of PGI's mechs builds very well.

Third, I wish that the head didn't protrude upwards like it does but ultimately its a minor detail. Also, the outer shoulders may be a bit bulky but hey.... its the Warhammer!!!

don't look too snubby from the side....but should be bigger diameter.

Also head is taller and more forward sitting than in concept

That's kinda dumb man. That's like telling people that they got no place calling a Pontiac Aztek ugly, unless they can design a car themselves. Look at how well that sold. People can be critical about aesthetics... we are customers. And we can vote with our wallet. I'm sure you complain about plenty of things that you can't "do better at" IRL.

I grew up with the very original Warhammer. The artwork looked already like a very metrosexual Warhammer...so clean and rounded with no edges which was not the brutal weapon of war anymore. This, though, looks worse - like a generic Japan anime robot

I actually like the general blockiness of the design, especially on the arms. A warhammer is a blunt instrument after all. Also the old images always straddled the line between round sections and blocky parts.

I don't think the mech is supposed to look like a "Warhammer", like the German WW2 Tiger tank is not supposed to look like a Tiger, its more in reference to its impact on the battlefield, its going to hit the enemy like a hammer.

Anyway,s a bit disappointed, I'm not feeling it. I remember seeing the Warhammer the first time and it made a lasting impression, this one looks generic as hell...The concept art is brilliant as usual but their modelling team don't seem to "get" what makes a Warhammer...a Warhammer. Hell i don't know exactly either but the result is..just bland. Generic as hell. Maybe make it more menacing, more angled rather than blocky? Anything other than "This is a Robot." vibe i'm getting.

Well, torsos is too tall, the CT hup over the head too pronounced, and the faceplate, too far forward. Additionally the faceplate is lazily finished compared to the concept. The upper arms look s a bit too bulky, though only a bit, and are too stiff and flat against the body. The Body itself should be a little deeper, you can see the CT protrudes more in the art.

And the PPC barrels are smaller. Probably an extra couple hours to fix, real world, that will never happen.

But mind you, because I am not a 3D modeler, I cannot voice any of that.

I don't have twitter account. You can do it yourself if you want to but I'm afraid it's too late for changes like that, the model is obviously rigged and animated already.

A month before release, can still be tweaked, Even said the animation in the sneak peek was just the basic animations. I've Already lit up his twitter yesterday, so for best effect needs to be someone else. Can't be all me, all the time,
