Davion defences on Carver V have been broken by the Seraphim Regiment after the Phoenix Legion had been stalled by the Strata Merc Corps earlier that day. The government has been caught and imprisoned. Reinforcements from the FWLM military are on it's way as spies have indicated that Carver V might come under counterattack soon.
A new organization named "The Dark Circle" has emerged from the ranks of the Seraphim aiming to smooth transition of the occupied worlds to the FWL and to improve communication and coordination of the Marik forces in the ongoing war. It must yet prove to be an effective new method of leadership.

i don't want to interfere with your roleplaying and if there is an official cease fire, i'm suggesting my unit not to attack the davs (can not guarantee that, cos we're anarchic pirates...)

It might be "Roleplaying", but it definetely has Consequences on the Attack Qeue towards Davion.
Because i am pretty sure the Seraphim´s will honour this NAP, too.
At least, as long as there are negotiations running.

correct.
PHL is not in charge of this negotiations, but we support our clients wishes. if they want to talk, we will not set fire on davion worlds. it's not on us to organise the marik faction and get everyone to side with each other. thats up to the marik council/loyal house units.

I can't explain why any House Liao loyalist unit would want this to change. I think TCAF is frustrated since phase 3 attack vector control hasn't been implemented yet. They've been trying to get to Tikonov since the game started. From what I read, they have no intention of attacking through Marik planets once they can control their path. Other mercenaries appear to be stirring up trouble on the principle that war with the Free Worlds League is good for business, even if it is bad for the Capellan Confederation.
Nonetheless, these mercenaries rely on others to hold territory. I can't speak for every Liao unit, but invaders of House Marik space won't get any support from 4TCR.

I appreciate your efforts in resolving this unfortunate issue. The FWLM has no desire to see our long standing agreement dissolve into open war. Let's hope our joint appreciation of the situation finds suitable resolution.
Personally, I am a fan of your work. I look forward to seeing more in the future.

PHL got permission to attack at the davion border, but...
as merc at your service, i don't interfere with your politics. it's easy to stand beside it, but it's strange to see marik, as faction, don't get into talking. rally up at least the bigger units. each unitleader can make their own point in this marik-liao-davion-war-peace-thing. discuss it. vote for it. accept the result and work as a team.
i know it easier said then done, but the best way to show a real will to coordinate. from my side of view, there is real interest in getting organised.

There are paths of expediency, logic, and honor ... Marik has chosen the path of honor. We will uphold our end of the agreement.
So, we are back to fighting Davion.
