The main reason near as I can tell is, because it possible for a mech or two to turn around a landslide by having capped early. So all the rolling team's "Skill" means nothing because someone was too "afraid" to fight.

I have notice distinctly different results between solo queue and group queue results.

Group queue matches seem to be far more mixed.

Solo queue has some patterns.

Assault is chosen if Conquest is the other option most times.

Skirmish is chosen most of the time when it's available.

For some inexplicable reason HPG manifold when it is available is almost always chosen. I personally find this map to be possibly the worst map design we have currently. The 2/3 of the map that is outside the walls is essentially unused especially in Skirmish mode. And this is yet another example of a doughnut map with a centralized feature that the battle literally revolves around. Just like Tera Therma and Caustic Valley and that stupid H9 hill on Alpine.

So the past 15 matches my only two vote options have been either conquest or skirmish, this needs to be corrected

voting system has improved randomness and given fans of less popular maps a chance to play those. no more endless streaks of the same map, i havent seen one of those since the voting system was put in.

dont care what type of gameplay i get, its a PUG match after all

They just implemented it wrong.

It should be 2, at the most 3 choices
They should be similar in heat range
You can only vote once (you get confirmation message) and thats it.

Eventually doesn't really cut it. If I have to play through 8 games of a mode I do not like or want to play I'm going to be far too frustrated to actually enjoy the game when I get the mode I actually want to play. Then of course I end up having to repeat the process. It just isn't a good system for people that don't like certain modes. As for maps they should have remained random entirely.

Lets not pretend that it is only one side that is being selfish here. Complaining about wait times and demanding others play all of the game modes regardless of their enjoyment so you can find a game 20 seconds faster is pretty damn selfish as well. So forgive me for not finding that complaint very convincing.

i want the gamemode selection back, I hate the game mode voting. I am indifferent on the map voting, its not completely horrible, but certainly not as good as random imo.

I'd just like to be able to pick which game modes I queue for. I enjoy Conquest on any map, but I can't say the same for Skirm/Assault.

I think it is doing its job. Matches are faster.
Good maps are picked the majority of the time.

Props to PGI.
It needs tweaking but it is much better then it was when we were just told what map.

Haven't played since voting system was added, also the impending rebalance at that time really made it easy to retire the game. I have hope that they will change this game back to a much better previous state. I know slim chance. Least there is lots of other AAA games to play though.. Just not many mech ones.. Posted Image

I'd like it to stay, but only for map votes. Game mode should be up to the individual player.

Voting can stay but events that are based on specific modes needs to stop.

If I can't choose then I shouldn't be expected to.
