I finished my last exam, so I had a Shooty Stompy Robot session. Mastered the IIC as a poptart, then went back to the Dual UAC10 build...back to back 1k damage rounds. Though, that means less than Solo Kills...those are the big earners. Each equals 1000 damage in itself (~60 points for either).
Oddly, I think my best scoring match was in the poptart. 2 Scared teams on Alpine, so I was almost free to just keep poking. 8 kills, 4 of them Solo Kills.
I actually ran out of ammo that round. Managed to Crit the LPL out of a LOLcust, and he toyed around with me before running towards me, accepting death (Thank you LOLcust, you earned me some points. You could have ran and made us cap).
However, the UACs generate SO MUCH MORE damage, in a much smaller period of time. Required to get the MDD and Solo Kill. Of course, hotter, but less of an issue.

Niiiiice. Another one or two games like that, youll be pretty hard to catch. Great competitors are only 200-400 points behind though. But I have faith in you.

Oh, now you've forced my hand.
I must play more Shooty Stompy Robots.

And so we advance, point by point...

I shall be waiting (in my Jade Falcon camo).

I miss a real chassis challange again or leaderbords in general, something we truly should have. But I don't like the look of the IIC mechs, so I don't own the package to battle for the tournament as well.

well thats basically the the flaw in the currents events way, you need to "grind" enough games to get enough lucky games where all people except you are derps. thsiw ay you cna rack up laods of damage that brings the big score. Good players will do good most of the time, and they will be the ones in those games sticking out. So everoyne in the leaderboards at around 2800+ is actually a good player . But the top of these gamers is simply defined by those having the luck getting one or more of the totally blasting games full of fools.
I mean think about it, when people in these charts differ by 20 points it's just 30damage difference per match of those 10. or some lucky less assists/kills

Well I would hope anyone pulling off a 2800+ game was a good player. I'd love to spectate a game where someone pulled that off though, because it makes me feel like I'm doing something spectacularly wrong, so maybe I could learn something.

0bsidion 698 < that's my placement and best score with the Hunch IIC-B, and generally above my average performance. So yeah, if I could figure out how to do 4x that, it'd make my MWO "life" a bit easier.
