Jane Curlile was one of my characters when we played Battletech. We hated the pen and paper combat though, and switched to MW4: Mercs every time there was combat. Since we were playing a stable of Solaris pilots, that was pretty often.

I look forward to taking her back out and letting her kick some arse.

I was trying to think up yet another name for an online login and was taking my tabs at the time. Hence the name. Too many names to remember.

Well hopefully some gamers are open minded enough to see the meaning in my name. This is my MW tag only. Picture a pilot sitting in a cockpit with his right hand on the stick. Trigger is mainly ac or something dakka but the red button under the thumb.. Causes thunder :D

Started using it when I was working on pc's back when configuring them required onboard jumpers and low level formatting of 5 meg hard drives took a while.

Been doing that job ever since.

Radiarch Eklesya is the name of an Aasimar Divine Hunter for Pathfinder. I thought it apt as a callsign for my mech pilot because I liked the term radiant arch, how I envision an arrow of light in a fantasy setting looks when loosed in the air.

I've been using this name for most of the forums i lurk on. The insperation came from this little incident:

I like birds. I wanted something simple like Crow, Osprey, Ibis, or whatever I could get, but all the regular species names were taken.

Modi is the name of one of Thor's sons. His name means strength or wrath depending on the translation.

Not much backstory to mine, I'll try different tactics rather frequently to find what works and how to counter them. I also hate silent letters.

I used to go by KeaponLaffin, but in multiplayer gaming you need something that's a little easier to say or type. I usually go by Caboose, but that was taken, so I took something from the Red Vs Blue outtakes and went with JuiceCaboose. I get called by Caboose because 1.) I can do his voice really well and B.) I have a tendancy towards Caboose-esq moments.

I had a friend call me Gaboon back in the early 80's while playing paint ball in a 1500 man tourny. I had a custom made gun with a 16 inch barrel and a 14inch supressor. He said he watched me lay in wait under complete camo cover and pick off players off 1 by 1. He told me several people walked with in a few yards of me and never knew I was there till it was to late and I reminded him of the Gaboon Viper.

Its an homage to Hassid Ricol, the Red Duke. I didn't want a copy/paste so went for Crimson.
With VoIP+ my accent, I didn't wanted to be know as Crimson Duck so I hopted for something with a similar sound and the idea I wanted to give: dux.

Edit: It's an name I used a long time ago.

Back in the winter of 1996 I used to hear my Father talk about being worried about black ice when driving home from work. It was ice on the road that you could not see and was causing a lot of crashes. A dark, patient, quiet killer that takes you out when you least expect it. That Christmas I received a sidewinder 3D pro that came with a copy of Mechwarrior 2. When picking a pilot name it suited my personality perfectly. I have used this name in every game I have ever played since.

Our Universe and the IS cross and match, how fun is that.

It is my destiny to take control of the United Earth's Armed Forces sometime in the future, defeat the person who will no doubt take the role of Amaris and kill the beloved ruler of our fledgling star nation, and then lead the armed forces away in a mighty exodus.
And then die, leaving the legacy to a ******* son who will betray all that the Exodus was meant for.
But I'll make sure that my Nicholas doesn't take charge, and instead, my Andrey will be the rightful heir.

I really hope the Dev's don't have a problem with your name when/if they implement culling for Canon names. I for one will sign the petition to let you keep it as your callsign!

You think they'll do something like that? I don't. They probably put restrictions on the pilot names to stop people taking important stuff.
I am not yet an important character. But one day, my name will be known as well as Aleksandr Kerensky himself.
