I usually don't roll the same name through a bunch of games. Most of the names I do use tend to get thrown out from filters. Might stick with GingerCrammer, or one of my other alts.

My callsign from playing Mechwarrior 2 and the pods was Athena but that was already taken so I went with Palutena after the goddess from Kid Ikarus which is derived from Pallas Athena.

Technically my nick name actually is a reference to my fursona, yes I am a furry, so sue me. My Fursona is that of a dragon, mechanical one at that, I use the Latin form of dragon simply because it is a nice way to say dragon that is also well known, but often not thought of, and the addition of Mecha usually makes it so the name isn't taken and explains the KIND of dragon that I am.

For more reference enjoy this Picture.

Nickname given to me while I was in the Fleet Marine Force in the late 80's and early 90's. I was a scrounger for my unit. Getting things that the unit needed by hook or by crook. I was once stopped by a Lieutenant who suspected me of 'repurposing' some of his unit's equipment but he couldn't prove it. He said I was a Slippery son of a ***** and it stuck.

NO my name is not some stupid way of saying Scouting, it has actually been my Online Alias for almost 13-14 years and it has been my Last Name for almost 20.

It's the handle I use in most games. I got it from Homer Simpson. He got it from a hair dryer.

I like turtles.

It's my online alias for everything, and it was a pet name for me when I was a baby. "Oh, my little terrapin!"

Xathanael a.k.a. Nathanael - while the Roman Catholics and others claim that all of the angels were made at the same time, the Gospel of Bartholomew says that Xathanael was the sixth angel to be created. The testimony of Beliar the devil makes the same claim but, this is a less than reliable source.

Yo people.

I chose my gamername because of my role when playing as a kid. I was the one explaining what happened, I was kind of a GM.
One of my major interests being writing novels and stories probably contributed as well.
But, someone stole "Storyteller" so it had to be "Storytellerr"

I have used Maximillian Ares since the old FASA games (even Star Trek)
The "Kiroshi" callsign is something I got from Cyberpunk and it's my name in Pax Gaming. (Check us out, we're always looking for new good friends and enemies)

Created the account while reading The Last Wish on my Kobo e-reader. Lots of characters ending in '...riel'. However, great thread - so many funny stories here! :)

The same MP from WWIIOnline?

My original handle that I have used for 20+ years was Manowar, from the band, which I used for MPBT, Solaris, Warbirds, Cyberstrike, and many more. Unfortunately many people now use the handle and it is near impossible for me to obtain it, including this game.

When I was in the US Army (Second Armored Division) circa REFORGER 1984, our unit commander required us to signify affirmative with "HELL ON WHEELS, SIR!" (the 2AD is the USA's "Hell On Wheels" Division) http://en.wikipedia....nited_States%29

My thick Texas accent resulted in a "HELL'N WHEELS, SIR!" and it sounded like I was barking "Helen Wheels, Sir!"

Back then all enlisted ranks used only their designated call signs on the battlefield--my buddy was Birdy, I remember Fats, Romie, Mick, Whitey--and I wound up with the call sign Helen because of that damned accent.

I added the extra L to remember the HeLL.

And my battlefield call sign has been since then ... Hellen Wheels.

True story, bra.

edit: added wiki ref to 2AD for anyone that cares

When I was creating my first e-mail accn't, wwwaaayyy... back in 1991 I couldn't think of a name that wasn't taken and a blood gutter is a runnel on the sides of hunting knives so that when your skinning, or butchering, your knife doesn't stick by suction into the animal. I really didn't think anyone would have already taken it, and I was right, I chose it mainly because putting numbers after your name is so tacky, and shows a lack of creativity (as does ripping off the name of associated book characters...you know who you are...you dishonor their names by doing that)
