The 4 cannons alone are going to take up almost half the weight of the mech. Not going to leave much left for armor, ammo, or backup weapons.
I think I did the math and mocked it up on a CTF-4X, I had room for a larger engine and just enough ammo. Who needs backup weapons?

But it's a Warhammer. One of the iconic PPC mechs. Why does it get multiple quirks for the secondary backup weapons?

Because Ballistic hardpoints, the question we should be asking is why does an no ballistic Highlander have Gauss quirks?

I am not feeling it BJ-1 got waaay better quikrs xD
Saying that these quirks suck because they aren't as good as the most ridiculously over quirked mech in the game is really disingenuous. Using that comparison, all the mechs in the game save a handful have sucky quirks.

Being optimistic, this thing could have been the IS' equivalent to the TBR had it not been 5 tons lighter and without JJ's. Realistically though, I think it'll be really solid mech that wont fall to the wayside.

PPC quirks are general, they apply to ER-PPCs as well. This makes having PPC quirks better. Sort of like Standard Laser quirks.
Really? When did this change? I remember PPC quirks only applied to the non-ERs unless I totally misunderstood them from the beginning. might explain why there are so many PPC quirks but barely any that specified ERPPC. If this is true, I have some tweaking to do...

PPC quirks make sense. Energy quirks make sense - thise are the primary and secondary weapon systems. Even missile quirks make some sense, as most Warhammers carry SRMs. But giving multiple Ballistics quirks to the MG hardpoints? Those aren't even secondary weapons on a Warhammer.
It would be like quirking an Abrams and giving it quirks for the 120mm gun and the crew's sidearms. Maybe one Ballistic quirk as an afterthought, but two? It seems wonky for a mech which carries 1 ton of Ballistics stock to have so many Ballistic quirks.

They are considering more than stock loadout. It's quirked for what people are probably going to actually run on it.

May the peace that only following the path of the Blessed Blake purge you for your heretic insanity and guide you back to the path of true knowledge.
Oh, I have seen your "peace of Blake". It was very "enlightening". (Nuke then till they glow!)

There is no more pure or noble goal than the preservation of knowledge and ensuring the proper guidance of those who would misuse it, thus everything must be done to ensure it.
