You should be able to. Try playing it first and see what it can do. If you don't like it, strip the mech of everything, then sell it. Engines aren't cheap and its less, HS and weapons you have to buy later.

Well I just had another match with aprox 4 'Live' mechs each side and it finished before the Win conditions were met.

Someone suggested the servers are made of cardboard ~ I'm not sure if they were joking or not?

This event is some what easy, but then I have been playing for 10 months or so now. Just casually playing and broke 15. Easily will break the top prize by sat/sun.

Beginning of event there was alot of idiotry going on and people all rushing into LRM or melee bouts. Has cooled off through out the night. Not the gloom and doom some were purporting.

its like this with any event on any game. We all go nuts, desperate to complete the event, then spend the last half of the event wondering why everyone is acting like idiots because we've already finished it.

Yup. Something's borked. Not sure if it's tracking Solo Kills or just killing blows, but it's not tracking Kill Most Damage Dealt, that's for sure. So far I've played 3 matches, went 1 killing blow, 1 solo kill, 2 KMDD in the first (only 1 point), 2nd was 2 killing blow, 2 solo kills, 2 KMDD (2 points), 3rd was 2 killing blows, 2 solo kills, 2 KMDD (2 points).

Took screens of it all for reference.

I don't think "Solo Kills" count towards the contest.

...and Russ now thinks it's a bug that KMDD doesn't submit to the DB if the killing blow lands after you're dead. So stay alive, for science. Either way, they'll be on it in the morning.

Yeah, If your dead before the the mech is destroyed you will not get credit for the KMDD, so far I've been cheated at least 5.

Good mechanics for the point, really liked that you could score multiple points per match.

Didnt like that there was no CW considerations.

Cool, so it's not just me getting screwed. Quality coding by PGI! I lost out on 2 KMDD already. Wonder how many extra games I'll have to play just to get to the point where the game actually registers 40 KMDD's.

This is the event we've been waiting for. Good job PGI for finally finding a match objective that requires players to work hard and contribute to the team. "Kill with most damage" for points is the way forward!

Yup, if you die, non of which will be counted; I lost count of how many I lost this way. There was a match where I did 5 max damage but died, not to mention other games which I am the top scorer.

In other words, this event promotes the same problem with the Victor event; Cowardice.
