On a more serious note, we need a new Light. The past twelve mech releases have been Heavies, Mediums, and Assaults. We need more light mechs to even the balance up a bit.

Rifleman IIC first please. Because we clanners need a decently armored, high weapon mounted mech that doesn't suck. I'm willing to bet that PGI will go with their initial IS releases like the Marauder, Warhammer and Rifleman mech lineup just like the IIC's now. I'm still crossing my fingers that the next clan mech is indeed the Rifleman IIC, since we don't have any clan blackjacks or jagermechs.

Russ has already stated that the next mech is IS. I can only hope it is a Light mech.....

I'd like to see the Warhammer IIC but before they do that there better be a new light 'mech first. Lights have been utterly and totally neglected for so long now. The last new light 'mech that we got was the friggin' Jenner IIC back in December of ******' 2015. We've had twelve bleeding 'mechs be introduced or announced since then and not a single one was a light 'mech. It's time for a new light.

In all fairness, there is an overload of heavy mechs, right now we can use more light and assault class mechs.... Besides if we follow your suggested pattern, the IIC's will go Marauder, Warhammer, Rifleman and Phoenix Hawk.... all four of those can be down right brutal mechs.

Longbow is just an 85 ton Archer, and ugly as sin.

We don't need another Heavy at present, but my money is on the Crusader

What we need is a light, so I would vote Javelin.

If another Phoenix mech, then the Wasp has enough variants to be interesting. Yes it's only 20 tons, but shares a lot of art assets with the Phoenix Hawk, so that would save money!

If it is a light, and Russ thinks we will like it, then my money is on a Wasp or Stinger since those have been being asked for since the unseens started coming in. Or perhaps PGI has finally figured out the Flea. That would make a lot of people happy too. If it's not a light, then I don't know what it is that he thinks we will like.

EDIT: Though it it's the Fireball, I will throw money at PGI, even pre-pre-order it.
