News Flash!!!


It has been annnouced that there is going to be a REMAKE of the Movie ROBOCOP, with Hugh Laurie (Who played House) portraying the evil CEO of OMNICORP. Sounds awesome doesnt it? This guy should really sink his teeth into the role.

Sadly, early screentests for Urbie didn't work out and he didn't get a call back, I guess he wasn't intimidating enough compared to the original security bot;

The same way the My Little Pony fad came about, its called flash marketing. Call something fun, interesting and cool, get 10 friends to do the same thing. Then they get 10 friends to do the same thing, suddenly, it is cool to like something like the Urbie or the Pony. People feel that they are "Special" since they are supporting a fad that no one else does, or that had a vocal Anti-Fad following. You should see some of the psychologists that work in marketing laughing their butts off at stuff like this.

"Fight the main stream!" ....... Generation X did it about 20 years ago. Just like all hipster garbage, the Urbie, Brony, Pony and friends will go down as jokes in a few years, and the people that support and fan-pump them will rewrite their history to exclude this rather embarrassing chapter.

On the upside, these Memes are making me bust a gut, keep them coming!
