That is one of the greatest things I've ever seen. You are quite the artist. :)

The seal with the eye patch should be holding a binocular as befitting those who are permanently stuck in x2 zoom.

The three seals on the right reminds me of what happens at that narrow pass on Forest Colony - except the lead seal would be trying to reverse into at least 7 more seals.

Lol. Posted Image I had not thought of that (he would probably have the binoculars duct taped to his face). There was a few more seals I wanted to add,(like a ghost seal yelling about how bad his team mates are) but the picture was starting to be over cluttered with seals. Posted Image

lol. so awesome. Can't decide if the drooling lrm'er firing within 180m is my favorite or the one sleeping.

Edit: or maybe the one about ready to get stepped on while he's staring at a butterfly.
Edit: or maybe the one shooting his laser at an atlas leg
Edit: or the one yelling at the other people, but his laser his going nowhere (to symbolize the ppl that talk trash usually have the lower dmg scores).... or how the other two couldn't take direction if their lives depended on it anyway just because they have no idea how to play.

God, there is just so much going on it's amazing.

That's true. OP does need to enshrine this on the Mechwarrior Meme Thread.

In group queue there are no protections from upper tiers because your group member's tiers are averaged to determine your match rating. Likely its getting set at 3 for your group which means you can face anyone in group queue. Solo queue is the only place where the hard locks prevent Tier 1s from facing Tier 4/5.

Outstanding artwork!

You quoted me but you didn't read what I wrote. Let me put it much less diplomatically.

My point is that thanks to CW and running in the group queue-places that, after the aforesaid 2500 drops, I know darn well what I'm getting into when I launch-I've been ROFLstomped by T1 players enough to know when it's happening in solo queue courtesy of people like the original poster. And that the noobs you all are griefing might be noobs but they aren't uniformly stupid. It's pretty obvious when some T1 or T2 is running an alt just to toy with people who haven't figured out how to walk and chew gum at the same time in the game.

And if you read what I wrote it was about your statement:

Running as a high T5, I theoretically should never see anyone higher than T3.

And then you mentioned group queue (likewise CW), which has no such protections. I made no comments or commentary on any of the rest of your message.

Iron Pete, that art... Wow, that's astounding! Can we commission you to do a 16:9 version of that? Pretty please? I am absolutely speechless.

was still learning on the Atlas -S, I stopped before I got basics on the D-DC.

smurfing is bad and you should feel bad about it. smurfing against newbies is killing their experience of the game and make them feel ****** and go away in a longer or shorter term lowering our playerbase. so it's not good to smurf.

still i love that picture you've drawn

That artwork is magnificent!

I doubt you have the time, but the game could use a series of art like that... wow!

I totally understand the sentiment, the art captures the scene perfectly. When PSR was introduced, I had only returned that week after being on hiatus from the game for almost a year. Since they only used data from 2015, I was placed in tier 5 with an empty bar, despite that I've had solidly positive stats ever since beta. The seal clubbing was intense, it took less than 48 hours for me to reach tier 4, and I was in tier 3 within another week. I was definitely feeling the guilt, but it's not like I could do anything except club faster to get out. It honestly wasn't even very fun, the games got much more enjoyable once I got into tier 2 and started fighting more appropriately matched opponents. I'm hopeful that it will improve further once I make it the rest of the way to tier 1.

I can't understand at all how someone can get enjoyment out of smurfing willingly. It really seems like a sign of desperation from those who feel inadequate in their real lives.
