I expect many people to use them like a supersized Gargles or Gladbag, given the sheer number of energy hardpoints.
They cant even put the proper engine into it. If you check Sarna.net youll see that the Kodiak actually caried a XL 400 in it. So unless they add higher engine weights then it will be getting the highest in game value by default, an XL 385.

This game has had XL400 engines for a long time. The freaking Gargoyle comes stock with one!

Ahh ok. Im just used to not paying attention to clan sizes as you cant change them. All I knew was the IS only went to a 385.

The IS also has XL400. The Legendary Wubshee is an example of a mech that uses it.

didnt know, thanks for the heads up. Just know I was messing around with IS engines earlier and largest I saw was a 385.
probably depends on which mech you were messing with, it could have an engine cap at 385, or something along those lines.

The largest you'll see at any given time is the largest the currently selected mech can equip.

Forgot/didnt know about the size cap on engines. And no problem on the comment. I know it can get frustrating dealing with "idiot" comments on forums. Long time Battletech/Mechwarrior player but off and on MWO player so not 100% on everything in game.
Ive quit posting on ANY game forum as it does degenerate into mud slinging at times, hence the low post numbers.

can't blame you there.
Our forums are a LOT less toxic than they used to be, but it doesn't take much for feelings to get hurt, drama to start and poo to be flung, lol.

Awww, my stalker-tool notified me of your original post, and I came here specifically to make a "poo to be FLUNG", NOOB! post flinging poo, but you edited it.
