We generally operate on consensus but I think I can speak for all of us at least that we welcome any and all malice against us.

It's malice in a different direction I'm worried about. You guys are fun and entertaining to have around and I fear that you're a hair trigger away from a permaban... Please be careful out there.

As a Steam newb with mediocre at best skills, let me preface his post by saying that both MS and the NKVA guys are better players than I will ever be. Their builds are amazing and they can jump around full speed in their mechs and focus down my mech at full speed without breaking a sweat. You guys seem like cool nerds that would be fun to talk mechs with. Here's the colossal but:

I enjoy CW except when either of these tags are involved. I have had about 10-12 drops against 12 man teams for both of these squads.

I listened to this at work and almost spit my coffee everywhere.

You guys have probably been awesome for a while, so you don't see the team chat or voip for your mostly steam seals with their lrm boats. Some of which straight uninstall after they release how punishing the "rich" cw experience is. The point is there are plenty of groups out their taking new players under their wing, or encouraging clearly new players with terrible skills/tactics/builds. MS even if polite, zerg rushes or steamrolls and politely spawn camps them to death. NKVA does the same, plus taunting. Close matches are fun, these are a huge waste of time for pugs. Not fun, you don't learn anything except what tier one would look like and fewer cbills than a 10 min quick match.

There are units that drop in less than full drops, ask pugs on to their TS and form 12man including pugs, still win (fewer) games, and then show them how fun CW SHOULD be. Units like that got me to keep playing CW.

You guys can point at PGI, but you have a hand in lower population and PGI's reaction. I have seen it and read it from the seal side. I try to soothe them and explain they can easily avoid kurita/ms and just block the trolling if it bothers them.

Unfortunately, the wailing of the seals has been heard, Russ has seen this carnage for what it is. So split queue, which will suck, and it's too bad.

Don't forget we are the #1 IS unit from Tukayyid in skill and modesty

Doubling down on said modesty, NS takes full credit for largely training this group of forum warriors in the ways of CW warfare. To the point ... uh last time we faced them we lost. #sadpandabuthappydearcoordinatorandproudpapa

Yeah I tried to mention it on the podcast, but we really credit our ability to participate in CW at all to NS mentoring and looking out for us when we started last year. They're the only group who could ask us to jump and all we would ask is how high.

Aww. Thanks Scoops, don't be modest though. In CW you guys are hard to fight against. Not many teams line up and move the same way and stay unified on builds like you do. It takes a lot of work ... although how you have time between synctube and forum trolling is beyond me.
