UAVs and coolshots I don't have much of a problem with. Arties and airstrikes though need to go or be changed completely. It's no wonder alot of comp tourneys ban or restrict arty/airstrikes.

I've never used a coolshot anyway though, even when I have 70+ free ones from all the ones they throw at me during events.

Considering that coolant flush was an ability that was just included as a basic gameplay element on every single 'Mech in every other Mechwarrior title until MWO came around...


...yeah, coolshots are stupid. Somewhere between the titles reactor coolant apparently became lostech.

Ironically, it was when it came out but the community was incensed so PGI adjusted the CB version to be equal and has been very careful about P2W since. You're three years late OP.

It was never released as P2W, it was only announced and PGI changed their tune immediately when they realized just how much people hated the idea.
