Get real the Thunderbolt is tier 1 awesome sauce. Which of its competitors boats mplas better? Answer: none.

The Black Knight is losing is general range quirks so it is just left with overquirked structure which the Blackjack proves can be removed. What else am I supposed to drive, pay 2 win Warhammer-6D?

Because we can't always count on other players to carry us.

Lol, I know that feeling in Armored Warfare, I typically have to carry 8/10 PVE matches....and people said AI was easy...

10% max range will only limit weapon choices further, as mech being able to make use of IS LPLs will just be forced to pick up the LLs as well.

LOL. Just LOL.

LL = mediocre weapon. LPL = god tier weapon. dropping from 493m (25% quirk) to 438m (10% quirk) doesnt change that fact.

It is a bit knee jerk though. For example the BLR-1S is now strictly inferior to the 3S, where before there was an interesting choice to make (i used both on different maps. Now its just gonna be the 3S or the 2C)

Today is the day Top Dawg gets neutered... Farewell sweet prince.

Can anyone recommend a good CW oriented build for it? As I don't see myself ever playing it in Quick Play since the 9SE is just so much better.

If you don't see yourself playing it in Quickplay, why'd you want to play it in CW?

As a brawler mech chasis it has less structure quirks than all the newer heavy mechs which are geared for long range - i.e. Marauder, Warhammer, and Rifleman. The hero variant Top Dawg will be receiving a -15% range nerf with zero buffs to compensate.

PGI please keep keep the Thunderbolt relevant. Give it some CT structure.

Cause I have a limited Mech pool. Quick Play lets me pick my top mech whereas CW i have to pick my top 4 (even if some are subpar choices).

Huh.
For me it's the opposite. I run my top mechs in CW, while in Quick play i derp around with derpy mechs.

Thunderbolt could use a remodel, get it up to date and out of Brick-o-Fail appearance, that being said, so could the Battlemaster.

Sorry Thunderbolts are no longer going to get good quirks, because most people have now bought them.

Thunderbolts are also pretty oversized compared to other 65 tonners (and some heavier mechs).

But i don't feel that ALL thunderbolts need to be buffed. Maybe the 5S, but others? Not really.

The buff it needs is to be able to ride a.... SCORPION into battle.
