I was able to add in some more variants that might work as well. Based of MW:LL variants.

I might be able to do this when I get some time in the lab this week :)

I was also thinking making on the hump being almost Stormcrow-ish built in. That Hump makes a good torso larger weapons mount.

So in the Field Manual Updates I found this.....now I only highlighted the MK.II, but still rather interesting to see.

Hopefully they announce the Mad Cat MK II in April and we can then start discussing load outs and making custom paint jobs ;)

Well load outs wise should be easy, I am just trying to suggest some base variants to use is all lol, MW:LL might give us some ideas. as for custom paint jobs? Hmmm let me back to you on that Posted Image

IMO: Something giving homage to Diamond Sharks some how, or the Clan stable on Solaris VII

Well the reason I say load outs, we don't know all the things we can build until they give an official list of the load outs. As for custom paint jobs, that always comes when they release Alex's amazing work. I will be quite interested if they do create their own Hero mech, since PGI not can create canon Hero mechs.

that looks sexy, great work bro

One request. Scissor jointed Knee joints.

The straight up and down joints look so... pathetic. The Original Timberwolf and by extension Mk_II would look so much more sinister with them.

I know you've seen these images a million times, but the Timberwolf in MWO has the knees done completely wrong, and it really annoys me to no end.

I did have it done up as you said, however there were some issues.....

- They were hard to keep from looking to small or to fat

- No other mech in game currently has offset legs, even ones that should Posted Image

I understand it looks a little odd with the legs in line with each other other, we had the same issue getting use to the Timberwolf.

this was Rev 0 of my full design

Your base was too large that is why

Maybe, but think a bit of MWO proportions they do keep it some what realistic, Chicken legs make no sense specially for a 90 tonner O.o but I dont want Direwolf limbs they need a fine line of thin enough to be quick and stride not prance

No I mean the space of the base between the thighs of the legs

You may also have to lengthen the legs. I think the proportions are slightly off as to why it almost has a "Chiby" feel to it...

Very square front profile. Just food for thought.

Ah I figured it out. The nose is slightly too large (diameter) along with the arms' base protruding too low. Also, its missing the second top half of its pelvis, making it look far too squat. I recommend making the front profile more rectangular rather than square (vertical rectangle for clarification and only very slightly with that adjustment). Alternatively, changing the front profile to be more of a trapezoid, with it being more narrow towards the lower torso pelvis.

it also may have its box protrude too far out in the rear, but whether that is personal preference on your part or not with artistic license is your call.

I know I was saying that as well usually all mechs have it about as wide as the torso's in game usually. I can explore what you say. As for the Torso I do stand by why I did and you can sorta see why and how it is coming along weapons wise it makes a solid mounting spot and its not as bad as the MW4 hump I did trim it down quite a bit. JUST enough though for weapons to mount in it.

Before Russ reverse his decision and releases the Mad Cat MK II, can he reverse his decision on unlocking C-ES and C-FF?

He said he could not do that for the omni mechs as it could lead to total unlocked omni pods like removing JJ's,MASC, fixed heat sinks, ect. This he does not want do, no idea how he wants to fix the issues wit the mechs stuck with basic structure and armor but something needs to be done. But we don't need Atlas level structure quirks on a medium again.
