inb4 ppl been saying that since 2013, but spoilers! It hasn't improved at all since then.

Um do these Count as Improvements?

Then theres the ELO to PSR which is an Improvement, though it does need work,

Then theres the Re-Scaling, of most if not All Mechs in MWO, to make Like Mechs of Like Size,

Then theres the Map Revisits, Which are a Mixed Bag, but they are trying to make them Better,

As well as other things such as Phaze3, Spectator Mode, 1v1/2v2/4v4 Test Maps, Ect,

i think PGI has been Doing Good these Past Few Months,

A few months compared to 4 years is quite a long way to go...

Been awhile, but with the Night Gyr lore hinting at use of a prototype (original date of 3052, but write up takes place in 3049.) So with the willing to fudge with the dates a bit it would seem. If we got the Mad Cat MK II, we could probably sell them on a 3060 date, consider offical production started in 3061/3062 after what 18 months development time? Though yes down the road, the willingness to use a prototype date for the Night Gyr (and I think Mauler before this) can help a bit with dates and such for other chassis as well.

Anyone know the Nova Cat "prototype" date would be?

well, I suppose if you were a SaKhan we might let you have one a few years early.... so when 3058 arrives, we'll talk, k? ;)
(Oh and getting cracking at getting promoted to SaKhan in the meantime, or at least Loremaster)

Interestingly, the upcoming Night Gyr is the closest we could get to the Mad Cat Mk. II loadout and speed-wise for now (note that you need the Jade Kite Hero for the RT-pod):

Still, it's a humanoid robot and looks nothing like the Mk. II.......

A clan assault that runs at 68 kph, with jjs, two gauss rifles, 2 lrm 10s or maybe ssrms 6 and 4 med lasers (id take 4 cspls)?

Bring it on.

That would be fantastic.

Hoping that the original variant will get 2B on each arm Posted Image

They could end up inflating the missile hardpoints though. But then again, LRMs could be the "meta" when this Mek arrives Posted Image

Right up until you lose those arm sheilds that contain the bulk of your fire-power....

Chances are though, in most cases ppl will try to go for the CT and only through your own torso twisting will they et taken off. It's not such a bad curse, you still have energy back ups. I could see the 1 getting ballistic hard point inflation though, the 2 as it is with the quad missile hard points. Maybe the 4 gets a missile inflation. And the 6 has its arms have 2 energy hard points.

Not like this is the only mech that mounts alot of firepower in its arms either, plus try have decent armor on them lol.

Stop trying to nit pick a good mech xD lol she will be good, I would say tier 2 if not maybe some 1's for clans,

I'd say T3/T2 at most. The Mech is 5t too heavy, if it was 85t it would be more efficient, the JJ's would be 1t rather than 2t each, the Engine would be smaller and lighter, as well as a few other things. The Hit Boxes would be okay, not fantastic, the Timber Wolf gets away with it due to the 375xl and a quick twist speed, the Mk II, using a 360xl might be hamstrung by its own geometry.

As I have said before, I hope it is everything you want it to be, but don't be surprised if it is found to be wanting when it shows up.

Understand, but I mean it wont be the worst Clan Assault, I feel it will be just below the DIrewolf, maybe better since it will be mobile enough to be usable in CW. The high mounts also as well will be nice (see KDK-3) but it would b either a good Gauss Slinger I feel or if can get 4xUAC5's. We will see though, I will be generally happy with the mech, I don't feel it will be a pile of crap though either. The best? I think that is a very situational thing, and to many factors to say it is or not.

If they decide to inflate the arm ballistic hardpoint, it can do a respectable 2UAC/10+2UAC/5 with 10 tons of ammo (5 tons for each type), maximum armor, one Jump Jet, 11DHS, while keeping the engine:

KDK-3 is still better because it can strip its arms' armor for more ammo but it can't jump and have more limited pitch angle (because of torso mounted weapons - not that it really matters).
