However, it should be noted that the very next page (that is, page 59) of Field Manual: Updates states:
"The furor over HarJel pales next to the outright disbelief and anger as the Diamond Sharks continue their plans to supply the Inner Sphere with military technology. In 3066, they unveiled the Mad Cat Mk II. Based on the popular Clan Timber Wolf design, the Sharks kept its Inner Sphere designation, as they intend to sell it specifically within Inner Sphere borders. Unlike the Ha Otoko, the Mad Cat Mk II is not a stripped-down version, but incorporates fully functional Clan technology (and a service contract that includes Diamond Shark technicians to keep it running at peak performance). Diamond Shark arguments that the BattleMech showcases only old Clan equipment, nothing cutting-edge, will not forestall challenges for long."

It is also stated (on page 59 of Field Manual: Updates) that "[Alpha Galaxy's] warriors have gotten few chances recently for heavy action, but that is expected to change in the next few months as the first challenges come over the Mad Cat Mk II (and Warhammer IIC) programs."

If the Mad Cat Mk II was "unveiled" ("show[n] or announce[d] publicly for the first time") in 3066, then it could not have taken place in the Trial against the Falcons in 3061.
Additionally, Field Manual: Updates is written from the viewpoint of 3067 ("...including a history section that will bridge the gap between where the appropriate field manual left off and the current year of 3067..."), so the statement that the first challenges over the Mad Cat Mk II would be forthcoming serves to further highlight its newness (and reinforce the point that it had been introduced only recently, relative to the FM's viewpoint).

You are also forgetting that these manuals and TRO's are written from the IS side of things, and in the TRO as of 3067 the design was actually completed in 18 months a half decade before 3067, so it is well known the design was available as of 3061/2. One could say it was not available to IS customers though till the 3066/7 date though but available to Clans long before that.

So go figure lol, I do not know what to tell you there Strum I do not have the answer either. But going off a theroy, the As I said above since all batteltech stuff like TRO's and Manuals are written out of the perspective of the Innersphere, some information behind the scenes specially with the Clans is not known. So I assume as noted in the TRO the mech first entered production between 3060 and 3062 units were off the floor lets say in a generous lead time of 1 year so at latest maybe 3063. That still does not account for the why it is not for sale by 3067? Maybe Diamond Shark built their own orders first for 2nd line units? Nova Cat 2nd (Since IIRC they are in a good relationship at this point) and possibly open for sales to other clans (IMO I could see an Early Ghost Bear Dominion buying a handful since production of Ghost Bear mechs was not in full swing yet after their transition to their new Innersphere home. Ect. then in 3067 the Sharks began to actively trade the mech to some IS houses (but probably in not great numbers still)

As many times you banned me over it how are you surprised? I'm not allowed to talk about it remember!?! Everyone knows my position on the matter at this point and that's enough. $400 + went to Rockstar this weekend.

I'd rather see more IIC mechs. There's a ton of them, and there are plenty of variants.

I keep telling you, I washed out of MechWarrior training, but passed Elemental, as is the tradition of Clan Ghost Bear.... how ever the ale and women of the Federated Commonwealth drew to the IS.

I do not understand how just attacking any IS planet makes me a crusader though. I don't care to drive to terra, I do however want to claim a home here and kick some Kuritan arse!

Do you not see the irony of the Crusader cause? They are going to conquer the Inner Sphere to become the new rulers of a new Star League, not unlike the Inner Sphere houses. A proper Warden would see the folly of that, on top of seeing the IS warriors as less then a proper challenge for us, if we fight them on their terms, rather than hampering ourselves with our 'honour' code.

Fair enough lol.

Btw, do you know or anyone know how they get the CDS manufacturing site Plant DSF-94 to be found on Babylon? Cause as someone in the Battletech forums pointed out, there is nothing for sure about this plants location

It's located on Babylon, a world in the Clan home worlds.... they were either seeded the location during the founding or won it through trials....

Yes, but that plant in question is not stated as 100% sure on Babylon, Sarna is the only source with that, even the TRO that it is mentioned in has nothing on it besides the name of the plant, no planet info is given.

Timeline wise CGB isn't a warden clan yet. That happened after the 3055 battle of Tukiyaad

So, did anyone else smile while noting that the Babylon system in BT is among the Pentagon worlds (that is, a reference to the number 5), and that the fourth planet in the system, designated Babylon IV, is also known as Sinclair? Posted Image

The Battle of Tukayyid ran from May 01 to May 20 of 3052.

But the Ghost Bears become the biggest Warden clan after merging with the FRR.
