Don't Spend It All In One Place

1 ton for dual AC5.
2 tons for dual AC10 or LBX10.
Is this thing XL friendly? Otherwise what are you supposed to do? Downgrade the anemic 240 std engine or pull off the two ultra quirked or largely ineffective medium lasers?
Awhile back I went on a little rant about having to put millions of c-bills into a mech that I spent real $$ on only for early access in order to make it playable.
Rinse repeat.

But really, who plays with stock builds anyway? They're the reason that Champion Mechs exist - so that the Champions could replace stock builds as the freely available Mechs.

What irks me more is that AC/5s, even with +40% velocity and +25% cooldown (42% with the module and skill) are pretty much garbage. If their velocity was maybe, like, 300m/s faster and their cooldown at 1.5s it MIGHT make it worth it to take them over even LB-10s. Yes, I'd rather take LBX's over vanilla AC/5s. Damage spread be damned at least I could actually punch holes in things.

personally I wish the Rifleman got mad RoF and velocity quirks that were specific to their default ballistic weapons (and I suppose a mix of heat, range and velocity to the ERPPC equipped variant).
Let it shine for but a moment as a mighty bullet hose then be a rather meh laser boat (or laser dinghy more accurately). We have about laser vomit going and I feel making the Rifleman distinct would have been a greater value than trying to make it fit in.
That's my 2 cents.

Went out with the stock Dual AC10's. At short range they were money, but at any range above 350 they appeared to lose convergence?! I could put my reticle in mid torso and watch the rounds pass on both sides of my target?! What the heck!
This thing is looking worse than the Black Knight when it came out.

Many other elements aren't directly copied from TT. Actually, they make a point to say that much of the time it isn't good for the game.

If you want pure dakka get a Jagermech, they're much better at it due to their 5 ton advantage (ballistics are heavy yo).

Sure, but the builds themselves are ported straight outta

They're fun in private matches for things like Stock Mech Mondays, but for the most part completely useless in Solo, Group, or CW. There are a (rare) few exceptions, but the vast majority are crap in MWO.

Makes lots of tonnage but will take up crits of course, You should really be looking into making the build better. Playing STOCK is setting yourself up for disaster and frustration.

Do the standard gauss/already built in vomit work fine in them? Could almost do that with just dhs tax, endo and you could up the engine even standard type to at least 10 true dub, probably max xl? Don't know cause dead pc (yay brokes) so too lazy to try to build from laggy phone.

I would not worry about it. The stock mech lovers are like the MWO version of a kick me dog. Just rattle the fence when you go by. Their bark is a lot worse than the potential alpha.

I mean it was obvious what this mech will be capable of (and what not) once you add armor...
