I just grilled burgers, had Fat Tire beers, and refreshing my worn-out button, F5! :D

Yeah, you are lucky.... you guys also have some legalized items we do as well (in DC proper), not sure how kosher that is here since it's legal in DC and CO, but not in other places. :(

Ahh what years? We just legalized pot in some cases and some other stuff. Cops were told to stop enforcing the federal laws. Huge **** fest over tobacco in doors (we lost on that, sucks), legalized certain foods, beat back a foie gras ban (this was important to me), and opened up to food carts.

I work off K street (lol I know), but can hit the warf for crabs, grab medical shop on the way, get a cuban cigar and drink great beer, and then get chorizo tacos straight off the cart and grill.

I grew up here though...

Though, your fair state kicks our *** for snow sports, but that's fine, I have family in Austria!

Congrats to everyone that got in! as it is now past 4 PM Pacific time I assume no more will be getting in (me included).

What does one do now that we have time?

Here is a list of things to do before Aug 7:
  • Fire up the barbie and invite some friends over
  • Buy family birthday presents in advance
  • Go down to the Beach and bask in the sun
  • Float down a river in a white water rafting experience (I love doing this)
  • Go camping
  • Go visit a national park you have never been to
  • Treat your wife/GF to a night of attention; flowers, wine, dinner and a massage
  • Go to the Gym
Help me add to the list people!

Man, please toss me a Fat Tire. So good.
Out of propane, so some stir-fry is gonna have to do the trick.

I'm East, the east is fine from DC on up, the south east is well... a ******* mess to put it nicely. Just keep in mind VA = Cali for food, and rich as ****. MD has the best crabs out there. The top seafood in the world comes from Maine, MD, Alaska, and you'll pay for it... unless you live local and then it's worthless. I can take my boat out of the DC marina if I want, go into the bay and get what I want. The slogan here to stop polution is "save the crabs so we can eat them" and it works.

USA is odd, the coasts are great, the other places..... heh, oh brother. There are some nice places in between, but costal America is completely different from rural/southern America.

For a food tour of the US. Cali, Oregon, Alaska, DC tri state (only makes sense if you live here), NY, Austin for BBQ, Miami for Cuban!

Thanks for the advice bro, I will definitively being doing another tour soon. Hopefully next summer and I will be sure to hit up these areas for their delicacies.
