I'm a lower level backer and got it. If it didn't go to spam you should contact them to make sure they have the right email.

I could actually see the Argo being useful lore wise. Back then humanity was still actively expanding, and colonizing new planets. And while many planets we safe to inhabit (or close enough) right from the start, most needed teraforming. That took a while so in most cases they built habitats for people, like we would now if we were to go to Mars. The Argo gives an alternative to that, letting the people doing the teraforming live comfortably while in orbit. While some other ships have grav decks they are either really small (primarily a gym and med bay) or it requires burning a lot of fuel. The Argo is designed to get around that, at the expense of being effective in many other ways. It could even be used for a base to colonize a planet that is so uninhabitable that you couldn't even build a safe place for people on the surface, or it could be used as a base for shorter (but not too short) space based mining operations.
The biggest flaw of the design is it's lack of a jump drive, which can be explained in lore as it being a lot cheaper to build a few argos and have a jumps hip drop them off, since jump drives are crazy expensive.
It should never be in mwo though. It would serve no purpose. It's not a combat ship, nor were enough made to run into one, and it's inability to land would leave it as a speck of light high in the sky above a night battle.

I have no problems with a single respawn or two. Could even be a new game mode. So many closed minds.

But the entire concept of players being based on such a dropship is the fun part. I checked the entire page for the BT game out and something like that making it to MechWarrior Online would be amazing or what.

The other game going this route makes me want in me thinks. :)

They mentioned base defense before at some point but I am not sure how that will work into that theme.

No, the spam folder is empty. It's interesting that the previous e-mail - with the February update - arrived.

One hopes that the new Battletech game will give hint to PGI how to do CW.

There really wont be any queues they could take from this game, especially when it comes to CW. There is no "Faction" warfare at all. Its mercs taking contracts an fulfilling missions, not taking planets. Its a turn based game. Yes there will be some community action happening, but based on their goals lined out in Kickstarter, the CW your thinking about wont happen.
