Whelp...this makes me worry about GH Mk2 more than the 15 PP FLD cERPPC itself.
If they allow this, I can't help but wonder what they're going to do to Dual Gauss, or the now 60 PP FLD Whale, mainly as an example of a previously good build, but how much extra heat would that generate?

In that specific hall, he said that they were being very hesitant with PPC buffs of velocity because they thought it would make TTK too low apparently. However, here he is now saying that the Clan ERPPC might have a 50% increase in the pinpoint damage it does. Contradictions...
Are they going to give it a max alpha value of just 1 with that damage level? Even with just 10 pinpoint damage, PPCs have a Ghost Heat limit of 2. Allowing dual Clan ERPPCs with the buffed damage means 30 pinpoint now.
Also, this still leaves the IS ERPPC (and regular PPC) in the dust.

I dont want to play a game in futuristic robots that cant shoot faster them most colonial soldiers and their muskets. I just hope they do a good job with this and its not slow, abysmal and lame like 50% of the other things they have thought were good ideas.
I am not really for the HUGE alphas either but that seems to slow i wouldn't be able to stand it. If you have ever had a match in a CDA with a single ERPPC and how hard it is, how much work you have to do to land shots and the ****** pay off at the end i just dont see this being a lot of fun if it ends up like that.

I have hit a mech and no damage and had PPCs explode in thin air, but never ghosted through a mech.

They're adjusting PPC velocity by +100 in April and reducing heat .5 and 1 for ERs

you realize that this happens because PPCs are treated as ballistics when it comes to impact. Just like with ballistics it's entirely possible for your bullet to travel between an arm and torso and legs without hitting anything because it didn't hit anything
