You'really really not getting that this is 'phase 1' of this 'killer deals with Mc 2.' Read the top of each column on the chart of deals. We are currently in phase 1 of this sale.

PGI simply chose to put what phase they are in on the banner.

Sometimes they'll run multiple sales, but this can also be a good time to buy the bottom reward and get an extra mechbay.

When I asked you if you needed me to make it even more obvious for you, I didn't actually think I really would need to make it even more obvious for you.

But as I made the offer, let's make it even more obvious than the link I provided, and the screenshot with the big red circles on it...

• So, this, the latest "Killer Deals with MC" sales event is actually "Killer Deals with MC 3".

Just in case I wasn't clear, the error has nothing to do with the which phase of rewards we are in.

Finally, on the previous page, you will also see user LegendaryArticuno stating that the rewards for this, the 3rd iteration of the event, "aren't as good as the previous two times".

Because, this event has been run two times previously. This is the third event. Not the second.

While there have been rare previous occurrences of overlapping sales, PGI usually run only one sale at a time.

On the lowest MC package this is actually a better deal than the +20% bonus if you need mechbays....20% of 1250 is 250, a mechbay cost 300mc so this sale you get "1550" worth of MC rather than 1500MC with the +20% sales

PGI, you lose sales when you only offer 1 tech in these types of things. Offering a choice of an IS or Clan mech would increase the interest from some players. IS players who don't use clan tech aren't going to buy anything. If they had the chance to get an IS mech though, well duh?

buy something in MWO unless it's on sale. I've been burned too many times where I bought something and the very next day it went on sale. I won't buy anything that's not on sale anymore

I don't think that it's nobody is "there yet", I think it has more to do with most people don't care enough to be that nitpicky

Well somebody certainly wasn't there. Hopefully he is now.

But to the bigger issue: I feel it's symptomatic of the general lack of pride in workmanship that has plagued this game from the outset.

If PGI "cared enough" about MWO, we'd be playing a much different and better game today. Instead, stuff just gets shovelled into production and noone seems to care whether errors reflect on their personal professionalism.

And if we as customers don't even care, then what reason will PGI staff have to care...?

Send PGI email. Depending on the amount of MC bought, they will sometimes do goodwill gestures and manually give you the reward if you explain your situation. Customer service will get back to you within a day or two.

Don't forget buying the $6.95 purchase also qualifies you for the annual loyalty award. Previous years it was a mech+mech bay for any MC purchase.

In what world is it a good idea to make the upper tiers not award each tier under them when bought? How asinine is it to go "Yeeeah you spent 100 bucks on the top tier, but we won't throw in the goodies from underneath unless you spend more money." Nearly every other game Ive ever played with tiered spending rewards awards the lower tiers at the same time. Kind of incentive to even pay for the upper tiers.

so are we supposed to buy MC and the new Champion mech sight unseen? I cannot find anywhere they are listed and will not personally purchase sight unseen myself. PGI should have made sure and listed these new mechs somewhere.

Just go in the store and look at the corresponding mech, champion mechs are all existing mech variants just with a different weapon loadout and a 30% xp boost, any quirks and omnipods should be the same, so unless you only run stock mechs .... it shouldnt matter

So if it ends up being a variant I don't like then will they give me a refund? I think they should show us what the mech is on new mechs.

Edit, looks like they have the variants and some other corrections in now. Makes it much clearer now.
