Sorry, I'm relatively new to MWO. How does one go about to claim their prizes? Are they automatically rewarded?

Do you mean an Event for the Archer like there was for the Rifleman and Warhammer before? Because this event is for St Patrick's day if im not mistaken. Not for the Archer pack owners.

There is a clickable icon on mwomercs.com on the right side, scroll down a bit perhaps... It is labelled MWO tournaments and events and leads you to the current event page. There you can claim your winnings. Have to be logged in though.

There is also a second page for challenges, that one is accessible from the profile page -> stats -> challenges (challenges and tournaments&events are a separate kind of event).

Thanks for this event. The GXP bonuses really helped with getting me to the Radar Derp unlock. I have gotten a couple Mil in C-Bills, a bunch of MC and a lot of cockpit fluff that I do not really care about. I also got two of those unlucky small lasers. Are they unlucky because they shoot backwards when you equip them and you damage yourself? LOL.

They probably decided against awarding one, since it seems like for every event that they do give one out, the forums (and for all I know probably twitter as well) are flooded by ill tempered ingrates complaining about how the particular mech is lame, how they "already have that mech", how as a clan player, why does PGI force me to have "that POS IS mech", etc. Plus, lets not forget the always pleasant undercurrent of "geez PGI I got all the prize pulls and no mech...you suck!"

Yeah I can see why they decided to keep it lighthearted and low key.

I'll in all honesty rather have a flamer or small laser as a prize than some green beer. I can sell the small laser and get few extra c-bills but the beer will just stay in my inventory until it goes stale.

Hey Kithmar,

The event shows that it's 1 per person, not per event.
So each person has a chance this event to get the grand prize.
