The game needs scenarios, attack types etc to make it a real experience amnd worth fighting for.
Taking important worlds like Hesperus 2 should give rewards.

Ughhh.. as a previous WoW addict from vanilla WoW onward, I can guarantee you we will not allow that grind to happen again. That ladder system was a fail from the get go. Our "High Warlord" was a shared account between 15 people. We are mitigating this and will update further later on in the project as it touches into an area we don't have covered yet. Just rest assured, the person looking into this cringes at the thought of the old WoW PvP ranks.

Someone who has tasted the pain , now i can rest......until community warfare then.

The client screen showed the map of the houses and there was a real time ticker tape at the bottom of the screen with news! The user could tell where battles were being fought and where the fiercest battles were occuring. The map would also beging to change color as one house started gaining dominance.

Yes. Complex goals like in... Team Death Match!!!
Sorry. I had to drop that joke first. Yes a real mission or two could not hurt, to test out "loot" and other possible perks or consequences.

I was so addicted to MPBT 3025! It was a sad day indeed when one of the big bad publishers bought the rights to the game and then shelved it. The CW they had was more than sufficient to work, even for us today. That was 11-12 years ago! PGI should find the guys who worked on that game. Those were in the days of strictly text chat for me. If only I was using voice comms back then. Dang!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you won't be able to take over capital worlds.
You will only be able to fight over boarder planets, no house will never be completely wiped out.

GREAT. I really look forward loosing battles in clan war because this piece of software cannot run smooth for more then 5 minutes.
Just a thought.

So either me and everyone that I have pugged with in many matches are super lucky
or
you and all of your friends have terrible computers and corrupt downloads and are super unlucky
or
you are exaggerating so that you can complain about the game.

I keep telling people High Warlord was a playing contest.
Sure, as afficionados of the Bad Old Days of WoW PvP are quick to point out, it did help if you won - but it wasn't necessary. One high warlord was a veteran with a psych discharge, and I knew guys whose server had a waiting list for High Warlord. If your name was at the top of the forum post, you could play as much as you wanted until you got High Warlord; everyone else was restricted to a certain number of honor points. The whole system felt punitive, and drove a lot of negative behaviors.
I am very glad to hear that you guys are avoiding that kind of a system. =)

Haha yeah that old system, had a friend who made high warlord, he shared the account with his younger brother. They played alot, were both good and all, but in the end, had to resort to paying some honor farmer to get him that last mile. No names mentioned here so hope he doesn't hate me for "telling"

It's a common enough story that I think almost all of us know someone like that...

None of the above, sorry to disappoint you. It's a matter of fact that we are encountering bugs on a frequent base. This is nothing I'm seriously worrying about now, since it only affects "stats" and "personal pride" right now.
However this changes once you are fighting in community warfare.
And as a last line: if we were the only one encountering those bugs, then I wonder how comes a 3-pages forum section full of reported bugs. You can check very easy that most of them have NOT been reported by me. And addng up all the "I have this bug too"-votes in every single bug report gives quite a nice picture of the state of this game.
However, glad for you if you can play it out without getting entangled in those bugs. Lucky you!

I have been here from Closed Beta.
I am not sure these guys have a clear direction any more
In stead of fixing bugs these guys are putting out new content ( BUGGED )
They have dropped the economy ( Purchase of Ammo and Repairs )
Knock down is out of the game and will most likely never return (Lights are love'n this )
ECM is not true ECM ( But a combo of 2 ECM's )
Streaks are Broken (they are supposed to have to require a new lock every time they are to be fired. making Streak Lights with ECM way OP )
The list of problems goes on and on......and on.....
These guys are just running around Putting out fires..They have lost their Direction
