Not going to do my homework lol... Because there is none, nobody asked for those mechs back when we had the Kodiak vote it was Kodiak and MK II lol

uhm there is lots of support for the Gyr, it crops up a lot in threads like this but since it wasn't part of a poll about the kodiak or Mk II there is no support? O.o what?

Lol that's a lie Posted Image but keep hating on me fam lol. When the MK II comes I'll look for you in game I better not see a mad cat MK II Posted Image

I speak with absolute truth. And my reasoning is simple. Here is what I think of when on the topic of the mechs listed.

Night Gyr - great to have mechs that have never been in a MW title, huge payload options, dakka
Firemoth - speed, nostalgia, speed, hit and run tactics, everything I love about my Jenner IICs and Ice Ferrets, speed, last of the original omnimechs
Nova Cat - rule of cool, diverse payload options, fantastic aesthetics
Bane - another MW debutante, dakka madness, intrigue on how the design will translate into a modern interpretation
Stone Rhino - nostalgia, power, bring on the Stone Rhino challenge (1vsmany[which won't translate to MWO, but anyway])
Warhammer and Maurader IIC's - nostalgia x1000, PPC glory, beautiful designs, more nostalgia

Mad Cat MKII - childish whiners, complainers, obnoxious belittling

I associate the MKII with selfish, entitled tantrums and that's not what I want to support. It's a cool mech and a good one too, one that I almost certainly would have happily purchased if it wasn't forcibly rammed down my throat every time I want to read and discuss MWO. I now could not care less about ever having the opportunity to pilot a MKII. GG, thanks for that.

And this was exactly what I cautioned the guy about when I told him he needed to reign things in a little back before things went off the rails. If you push too hard, too single mindedly, so ravenously, it backfires more often than not. Considering how he reacted to my advice, I don't feel bad saying "I told you so."

That aside, Night Gyr is universally panned as an insanely good option for the clans. Humanoid designs are bad? Pft. No. Humanoid designs are fantastic for even distribution of damage across a mech. If you don't pigeonhole yourself into an asymmetrical configuration then you do a disservice not taking advantage of that.

No, that isn't to say that all people who like the MKII fall into that category. It's association. You aren't what I associate the MKII with, but others are.

Don't care man, you got blocked for other reasons let's not go there again. You kept trying to push your agenda over mine through my tweets, and when you claimed my Twitter was public space I showed how quickly I can remove what public I don't want.

Not mad, just think you are kind of a weirdo for doing that. Follow you every tweet? That's a lie.

Why do you even care, you don't even play this game you just want mechs to look shiny in your mechlab.

The reason I care is because I'm not playing the game... See that's a problem.

Bro votes are gonna pile for nostalgia so yeah Lanner was in Mektek and in Living legends so of course it'll get votes over the Huntsman which is obscure.

Base chassis 3065 so according to Russ no, not now, but the Bushwhacker is a go though.

An argument thats fact, you didnt hear the town hall after you stormed off? He wants to focus on this time before going anywhere else.

Considering he left exactly zero room for interpretation at the town hall, such that it sent you into a rage, you know exactly what Russ said. Timeline, for better or worse, exists in regards to base chassis but NOT variants. He put his foot down hard and clear on that.
