I haven't laughed at a joke in two months.

Do you honestly think I understand them... or wish to. It is just an arbitrary social method to keep us from all killing each other. That's it.

Damn, dude...
Here's a hug from me to you, over the internets

You can like something and still be disappointed by it. Like The Force Awakens. Yeah I liked it. Doesn't mean I wasn't disappointed that it was the most unoriginal film of the decade.

Yes 100 percent true. There is nothing on this World that is absolutely perfect. But its ok.

Just stop and think how amazing the hitboxes will be though.

There is no such thing as amazing hitboxes on a 100-ton Mech. ;)

It won't suffer from the large head CT that the Atlas does while still having those large shield arms! No geometric flaws on the back or front that I can see either.

While the shield arms look truly impressive, they're too low to matter. The Kodiak looks like an Atlas wearing football shoulderpads, and the Atlas already looks like it's wearing pads. All you're going to have to do is "aim high" and the Kodiak will be cored as easily as any other Assault Mech. No amount of twisting is going to protect those pads (or CT) using the arms.

It's going to have to rely on speed and agility. Luckily it'll be able to carry an XL 375 with essentially Dire Wolf levels of firepower, so it should be fine.

Unless they make the shoulderpads part of the arms, like they did with the commando.

Can't. The UAC/20 is in the RT, and it's shown mounted on the pads.

I'm not talking about just the deltoid pad, which is the part that hangs over the top of the upper arm. I'm talking about the entire shoulderpad. They're massive and you won't be able to hide them.

I read it *shrug* you sound mopey. I like the look of the Kodiak, much more so than in MW4.

Well I am sorry I sound mopey. Can't help it, always been like that. Hence why I don't go out and socialize.

And... everyone on Earth likes EVERY design from every MW game better than the ones in MW4. MW4's designs sucked. Except I still prefer that Atlas to this one. But again I am a moron so...

No need to apologise, I'm mopey too. I've always liked the idea of the Atlas, but none of the designs evoked the supposed fear they're meant to.

Those shoulders are a bit too tall. And those weapon hardpoints on the arms are a bit too huge.

I really hope they fix it up like the warhammer. I want it to look sexy like in the orthos. It's my first ever preorder PGI, don't make me regret it.

side torsos... too... fat... if one blows, all the weight shifts to the other side, and h goes BOOM to the ground.

When a side torso is destroyed the side torso doesn't magically escape into an alternate dimension, it's still there being lugged...

Also considering how big the gyros are on a mech having 50% a ST and an arm coming off will still be bear-able (I'm so sorry). it would still be able to keep walking. If you look at humans for example and remember the days you are in school with a school bag but to lazy to have both straps on and only have 1 strap you have an extreme weight imbalance onto one side but you do not see people falling over in highschool. Just not good for your back over time... before you argue about it damaging the mech a bit possibly- you can't tell me it's less concerning then having a third of your mech knocked out.
