Pretty Prease?

Only pictures I could find of it:

It's an LBX monster and with the upcomming changes to LBX I think it would only be fitting to release an IS mech that knows LBX the best.

The Champion!

No thanks. There are other mechs that'd add more to the game and also not be bad.

Can anyone find a better picture an IS Champion mech please? They're hard to find.

Also: Anyone else in favor it? I mean if they're fixing LBX's then I think the Champion mech is probably the best one to show those changes off. It's awesome looking and it's Inner Sphere.

Come on guys... please.

It is always the same with the "bird like / jet like body with human leg" mechs, they are are ugly as hell and only a proper leg surgery can help them (stalker/ stalker2) Posted Image .

If slight LBX spread reduction is the reason that we get this mech, then that's laughable.

Agreed,

However if they added two tones to it's weight, and gave it mixed ammo, drawing from separate ammo bins, that would be worthwhile.

Annihilator would be better as the default loadout is 4 LBX.

Why not both? The only argument I could see being made for the Annihilator over the Champion is the fact that we've had 4 IS heavies released this year and that we're in need of an assault.

I'd still rather see the Champion if only because I'm biased.

Sorry, but the Champion is not especially good 'Mech in BattleTech and it would not be especially good 'Mech in MWO.

It has very limited selection of hardpoints and those hardpoints are concentrated in both side torsos and in the center torso in the majority of variants.

It has no Jump Jets.

There is only one possible "fix" for LBX Autocannons: Switchable ammo (Slugs and Clustershots). Until such solution is implemented, all other "fixes" are going to be just bandaids.

I think it would be cool to have the Champion in MWO eventually. But I say that for all 'mechs people suggest because the more 'mechs the better Posted Image

It can carry mixed weapon loadouts. It's like a slightly bigger Shadow Hawk that doesn't jump, despite its wing-like arms.

Here are some other pictures of the 'mech:

Out of those, I like the MW3 model posted by Martian the best.

I would love this mech if it came in. One of the few clan busters we don't have yet

You know that the Champion can easily strip out its stock LBX, right? LBX won't hold the mech back, I suspect that hitboxes however would.

And how do you suppose we make clustershots viable? If we did get ammo switching, literally everyone in their right mind would exclusively use slugs and never use clusters for the rest of their lives, ever. I sure as heck wouldn't use a cluster.

That's cause OP was touting it as an LBX beast and that alone is the cause for its release. Read the OP.

You wouldn't use it. Okay, it's your right.

I would use it whenever I would like.

If you would use clusters, then what's the point of asking for slugs in the first place?

The whole point of people wanting slugs is because slugs would be completely superior to clusters unless a miracle buff happened (which is unlikely).
