Just curious what everyone is getting for average FPS in game.

I did 3 separate runs. All in testing grounds on Forest Colony.

I performed each run the same at 3 different resolutions.
-2 minute benchmark
-Firestarter Alpha used (8 small pulse)
-Ran straight to the Atlas in F7
-Looked around wildly along the way
-Circled the atlas while taking each arm
-Finally taking out right rear torso while circling (which resulted in ammo explosion all 3 times)

Just in case anyone wants to perform the exact same benchmark...

Settings as follows:
Motion Blur: Off
VSync: Off
Damage Glow: Off
Effects: Very High
Object Detail: Very High
Particles: Medium
Post Processing: Very High
Shading: Very High
Shadows: Very High
Texturing: Very High
Environment: Very High

Specs:
i7 5960X @ 4.5 GHz
3x Titan black (+180 GPU clock, +210 Mem Clock)
64GB Ripjaws RAM @ 2133MHz
4x intel 730 series SSD (Raid 0)
Windows 10
Custom duel water loops

Results (I took a picture of my aida 64 monitor at the end of every run as well)

Plus a few questions.
-If MWO is so CPU intensive, why does it not peg a single core to near 100%?
-Why is it utilizing my second and third GPU? Pegging them higher than my main card, yet getting no improvement.
-With so many resources left over on my computer, why cant I get a higher FPS in all resolutions?

MWO's SLI is terrible.

It's really bad.

You'll probably get better results with just one card. Seriously.

I had such a bad experience with SLI and a one hit wonder board that I have never thought about it again.

I have given up on very high end tech on middle of the road companies. My new set up is Asus board w 4690k and a Nvidia gtx 960 plus an ssd and ram that asus has tested for that board. With particles set to low and most everything else mid-high I am getting 80-120 pretty much all the time.

If I was still actively working full time in Web Design I would go with an I7, but most games do not utilize the extra power that the chip provides. I am pretty sure that is changing, but I do not know when I7s will provide better performance than I5s across the majority of games. They do help if you have other stuff running at the same time. [note this is a brief thumbnail piece of advice for general purposes - do not want to start a fight over i7 vs i5]. This is also partly the same reason that many games do worse with AMD processors too.

My fps is at 30-40 which is quite sad since I can run skyrim at max every thing and my computer is about 4 years old now with amd 8150 single card and bare bones 8 gig ram on win 10. Batman Gotham city runs on a steady 55 fps using its own becnh mark. MWO is the only game I'm force to go uber low settings and turn off all the post processing and shadows etc.

140 FPS dropship. 100-90 no particles on screen. 50-60 FPS with lots of particles. Those silly 6xLBX2 dires bring my fps down to about 25.

I7 6700k, 16 GB RAM @ 3200, Sapphire R9 390X, running on a SSD.

Edit; Very High every setting, second highest AA.

Ah yeah. Ultra. Thats the setting. God I kinda miss Low/Medium/High and AA On/Off. And my GT9800 slaying every game I could throw at it.

GTX 980, i5 4690k@4ghz.

I've got vsync on, with a 60hz display, so I'm at 60fps, dont know how high it could go. Never lower.

I also run ReShade adding Ambient Occlusion and some vibrancy and sharpness, all game settings maxed at 1920x1080.

I'm not really big into Fps but I do enjoy some battlefield from time to time with friends.

GTX 970 and Haswell, stock factory settings
1920x1080

On max settings:usually hovers over 100FPS.
Lowest I have ever seen is just bellow 60, and that is when there is a crazy brawl going with tons of LRMs in the air.
