With the Clans ability to mount an 80 to 100 alpha so easily I think the STs on the Nightstar need reducing as well. Yes you can twist to reduce dmg to an individual section but being able to pump out that kind of dmg is going to add up very quickly especially with "shoot here" signs. I'd say those vents are like a Mad Cat 2's missile ears almost except no Clan xl or just not equip missiles to get rid of them.

My list of what I'd like changed,
- Raise arms to be horizontal with body
- Reduce size of STs (Or durability quirks but I'd rather it not be quirk dependent)
- Remove hand actuators, model can stay but please free up those arm slots

The quirks for the NSR are... underwhelming. Especially considering how huge they made the ST. Almost no offensive quirks and minimal defensive ones... I try not to complain but this is killing me. The lack of symmetry on certain variants hurts.

PGI plz,
- Remove the larger upper vents or make them smaller, mount missiles in the ST where the energy/ballistics are.
- Make all weapons symmetrical
- Stronger quirks, the model has taken a large portion of it's potential strengths and thus needs a boost.

I don't even understand why PGI would have done what it did in the first place.

Why make a symmetrical build asymmetrical, or take away such an obviously appealing (higher arms) portion of the design?

Both just make the buyer less likely to buy. That's bad marketing.

Not just less likely to buy- but canceled. This was a bait and switch all the way, hate to say it but I am done spending money on this unbalanced game. When I see IS win a faction event, then I will think about it, but the game will be dead before that happens so it doesn't matter.

Nice! I do think the down facing arms look a little better but not so much as to sacrifice the quality of gameplay. The raised arms should also help cover the STs better from the front.

Btw, anyone notice how the cockpit looks like a mouth? Like a crocadile?

I don't suppose you guys considered that this makes the arms wider so you'll be shooting more buildings and etc.? I'm thinking you'd have been better off with them down slightly. The difference wouldn't have mattered that much with those tall torsos. Basically you're going to run into the same issues with have with the arm mounts on the Ebon. You have to come further around things to fire. Just saying...

At least the side torso look a little bit smaller with the arm up... but more i look at them, they still are beautiful target !

Yeah for all of the hubbub, Im pretty sure making the arms was well intended. Maybe they thought it looked funny that way or that it would block too much cockpit visibility.

That said I totally prefer the fixed arms. Looks more like thr concept art, makes the whole thing look meaner.

Agreed. Also add some eyes above the "mouth" and you will be ready to go, for gaussing metal.
