My guess would be one of the ones we've seen artwork for, like the Flea.

Won't be the Bushwhacker, we're only in 3053, the 'whacker is a 3055 design.

Kodiac variant 3 is '58. Don't play the whole timeline card on us Bushies.

Bushwackers production year is 3053, unless you have something that says otherwise.

I'd put bets on the Crusader or Valkyrie

According to my TRO:

The Bushwacker entered full scale production in 3053, though many FedCom units received pre-production models during the Clan Invasion.

That was the first line under deployment in TRO 3058....

Id rather have the bushwacker than the cyclops but I think the cyclops is the only one they have art for and im told russ said it would be a mech they had already made the art for.

The consensus on the forum is that it will be the Axman, with an Adam Steiner hero mech.

Failing that, either the Cyclops or something completely out of left field, like the Black Lanner.

3055, possibly earlier, Variants weren't seen until 3058-3060, the Kodiak itself wasn't "Supposed" to be seen in the IS until 3055, so PGI is jumping the gun on that one.

Actually, yes, I believe you're right, I forgot it wasn't listed until the 3055 Technical Readout, but the Readout stated if I remember correctly, that the first one stepped out of the construction facility in 3053, but likely they wouldn't be "Seen" until 3055 except in perhaps House Units, which would have gotten them first.

I am thinking it is going to be another "older" or classic design.

Time line wise, the most "contemporary" mech we have gotten in these last few packs is the Kodiak. And it is already over a half century old in timeline.

Not to mention, the comment Russ made about "scraping" all the current era designs, leads me to think it will probably another mech found in TRO 3025 (or maybe 2750)

Axman without a usable Ax?

Adam Steiner without enhanced imaging? (they could make it the Hero camo)

Better give us a hero Summoner too, with the cockpit in the middle of the torso, and friggin leg lazorz!!!!1111

as much as I like the Crusader, I cant help but think that most variants would be a smaller Archer.

That one at least doesn't have any tech from after now, so it's kiiiiinda workable. That said, multiple IIC variants are supposed to have 3060+ tech. They're not afraid to play hack-n-slash with the timeline if they need to.

Two? I could do lots of interesting... ahem.

I'd rather have a nice sleek short airplane torso style mech that could do near/over 100kph with high mounted arms.
