But the inability for it to be able to hull down in craters and no sliding/falling rules would make quads kind of useless

I just had this conversation with Nyte only a little while ago, the Bushy was being mass produced in 3053, Matus confirmed it and Nyte later agreed.

You can find it under deployment in TRO: 3058... Also Sarna, but the TRO is more accurate.

That means instead of the usual old sweaty stank of the hand me down mechs, the Bushy has that new mech smell. Which is like the new car smell but with guns.

it actually depends on if the last Tukayyid that happened was beta or not because according to sarna it doesnt go into full production till after that.

What IS the year in game anyways? The game's been out what 4 years? If so then it should be 3054 and the argument should be moot lol

The better question is what does the IS need?
- the IS need: a fast heavy (and i say heavy not a fat medium like Quickdraw or Dragon)
- a lower weight medium with missiles
- light LRM boat
- something else

So:
- Exteminator, Falconer, Withworth, Thorn

not enough and the torso mounted main gun is a disadvantage - the CTF-3D with 340XL did almost meet my needs - a long long time ago

I think they have the cyclops artwork already finished for months (since the vote back then). So I guess it will be it. I don't mind it though. Something different at least.

Ok, probably won't happen even thought it would be AWESOME! So, I'll be happy with a more legit choice like the Bushwacker. That is a cool mech I'd love to see in game.

I have this feeling that it will be a Cyclops though.

My bet is on Valkyrie or Crusader. Bushwacker is unlikely, because as we know Harebrained schemes are using PGI's art assets for their Battletech game, which will supposedly be set in 3025. And there's a whole bunch of 3025 designs missing.

Loose that feeling - loose it fast..... because you have to invest 7,200,000 C-Bill just to make the obvious first 3 variants viable.
Even the 6.500.000 early bird will not be enough.

Honestly I wouldn't want it anyway. At this point I have a lot of mechs that overlap in the way they fight or perform. Now I just want to get something if I REALLY like it, and the Cyclops doesn't do it for me. I'd be interested in the Bushwacker, Cougar, Champion, Axman, and a Hollander Most are also crap bin mechs, but at least I like them. I have no love or interest in the Cyclops.

I think the only good thing to come from this would be is noone bought the crappy cyclops and PGI went back to making actual mech packs instead of one shots, because the players finally stopped playing Pokemon nostalgia
