troll pic lol, no such variant exists and I suspect PGI will use the atlas torso ballistics pod if you load the second point

I'm going to point out that there's no Kodiak variant that has missiles AND ballistics in the left torso at the same time.

Digest that.

That is the test model, which has every possible hardpoint from every variant. The KDK-3 WILL have those 4 ballistic points.

Then at least the missiles wont have that ******** placement around the gun.

Looking at that cockpit, I have a feeling it's going to have Shadowhawk levels of claustrophobia and muzzle flash blinding.

There's also no way you can fit 12 PPCs on a Hunch with a Gauss and missiles

Doesn't mean you can't take the art and make it.
This is an amalgamation of all available hardpoints.
What you see is what you can take, given the appropriate variant.

So how do we call the direstar with it? Bearstar? And then we can step down the engine for more weight...

God tier.

Would be proper nomenclature.

The Quad ballistic variant will likely have to turn it's own legs to torso twist at all, and will certainly have no agility/accel quirks.

So...I doubt it.

EDIT: Will it be good? Certainly. Better than DW? That really does not say much...but yes. God Tier? No.

Who cares about weapon placement? I want to know where the cockpit is! Left or right eye?

I'm completely shocked.

Looking good so far!

BTW, I hope that a single Machine Gun always occupies the topmost slot so people don't put it to push the main ballistic weapon upward.

Would it even matter? The bottom ballistic hardpoints are almost level with the cockpit.

The issue is the awkward geometry of the missile hardpoint, being affected by something that will never happen... the modeler missed this one.

Like Mcgral said, they were experimenting with it.

People, think about it, long and hard, this is from the Stream you know >.>

Anyhow, those Ballistic Hardpoints are real though...

I know they were experimenting with it.

I'm saying why the missile geometry is being affected by the ballistic weapon... they should overlap.

Is there anyone here that can explain this better than me?...

I mean.... its the geometry of the missile hardpoint that is the problem.

Imagine a catapult C4 with a giant hole in the center of its missile box to make room for the CPLT-K2 arms.
That Kodiak image is wrong in the same manner.

Ahh, I missed that part.

I think this is the best way to explain it;

The Missile hard point should be in a general area where the Ballistics should be instead of being up on top?

That's the best way I think I can explain it.

yes... the missile geometry should not "make room" for the ballistic... they are not going to be equipped at the same time... its this or that. the missile geo should occupy all the space behind the big gun... not on top it (as if its trying to make room)

I think the missiles are just hidden behind the gun rather than actually around it, that's what it seems to me, seeing as one variant has up to 3 launchers in that torso.
