If I'm reading the quirk PDF's correctly...the Kit Fox now has negative structure quirks on its Alt-S side torsos.

Yes, that's right. Negative structure. -7 structure to be exact, or -50% (default structure is 14).

On a Kit Fox.

What is this. I don't even.

EDIT: Legs too.

It's a PGI patch

It can only be expected...unless it's supposed to be +7. What are the others?
The others got quirks too, I'd hope. That's one sad robot.

Paul already touched my Cute Fox on his WubMakers...it hasn't been used in months.

It seems to be a very strange and convoluted way that they're going to quirk Omnimechs from now on. They moved a lot of the structure buffs for legs, arms, and torsos to the CT, but then equipping certain arms/legs/torsos will remove those buffs.

Like for example, the Cute Fox gets +7 side torso structure from its CT, but then equipping the Alt-S side torsos give you -7 side torso structure...why. There is really no point in doing that.

It really makes no sense. Why does my the CT pod affect things like arms or legs?

A lot of reading involved.... I'll save it for the morning train ride.

WOOT FIRESTARTER BUFFS!... celebrated too soon, they're all flamer and machine gun buffs. All my Firestarters use medium pulses or medium lasers.

The previous patch nerfed quite a few Nova builds, including anything with MGs, and the poptart (-2 heatsinks if you want the -8% heat, because you then need the A arms)

A couple omissions on the Spheroid side, such as the non-1X BJs not getting their PoorDub fix, but the Vindi's got it.

I guess I should make a patch feedback thread about that. Onto the Clams.

Ya know... If the patch is finalized... Then it doesn't matter if we get the notes tonight or tomorrow. No amount or reading the notes and ranting about them will change the content of the patch until after it hits live servers.

I, for one, view early patch notes as a luzure that if revoked for WHATEVER reason doesn't piss me off.

Back in Early Beta days, on patch day the server would go down, then 2 hours later it would come up and patch notes would be posted. Just saying.

That's just bad communication... no normal organization would act that way.

EDIT: Legs too. While there are ST and Leg buffs contained in each CT now, it's still pretty silly to add negatives to those corresponding body types. There is literally no reason for a KFX to ever have a negative quirk, the only mechs that should have those are crazy stronk ones like the Mad Cat.

The quirks haven't changed at all for clanners they've just decided to tie all structure quirks to the CT than if a certain limb is good it'll have quirks to remove it back to what it used to be (old S torsos had no Structure buffs while others did)

Guess it makes for less quirks all over omnipods in the long run

My god it's true...

Who approved this?

What other horrors am I about to see?

Though, I guess you're right, +14-7
A rather convulted way to get around it...but really, the Cute Fox could use the +20 levels of leg structure.

as for the kitfox... I think that's a typo error, no way would they already kick a already low end clan mech.

wait are so existing units exempt from having to buy invite tickets for their current members?

that seems extremely unfair... if old units dont have to pay but new units do

as for those who were complaining about patch notes being late... this is pretty big, bigger than the usual notes.

Nah, it's plus 14 from the CT, and minus 7 from the legs and torsi

A net plus 7, described poorly (but really, Omnipod quirks are terrible to display)

In other news, SadCat remains mediocre, Nova remains gimped and punished if you take ST weapons.

Read my prior post if you don't mind, the old Kitfox S torso's had no structure quirks, the other torsos did. Now the CT has the +7 structure quirks so the S torsos will now remove those quirks.

IE nothing has changed for any of the clan mechs listed except for HOW the structure quirks are laid out. As I said I guess in the long run it means that the various pods will have less quirks tossed on em.

Edit: my bad someone pointed out the heat dissipation +15% vs the old Energy heat generation -15% quirks that's a bit of a nerf for energy loadouts

okay. so read a bit, and....

holy crap, so much stuff for CW. so much. if youve played mw4 mercs multiplayer you'll recall that the data game mode is the same as the one just about back then.

also MC from planets? *prepares for the hordes to come play CW).
