Why does every other 45 tonner have to be so much bigger than the Blackjack? Is this even bigger than the Vindicator?

Thoughts? Refund asap?

this game doesn't do justice to medium mech hips.

Cent, Vindi, Treb, and now PHX.

It's probably going to be shrunk down for volume, right?

But but but guys, it's totally scaled correctly now! It's completely flawless and objectively perfect, this system is! Right? Riiiiiiiight?

No, volume is probably the reason why it's that size in the first place.

Thats terrible. Just terrible. Is the Blackjack going up in height to match?!

Fup, I tried to explain to people that they shouldn't trust PGI's new scaling system, but they argued me down.

Well there it is. /

It's going to be a tough one to rescale then, but they've got plenty of time then if they already have the model.

I wish there was a side view of it, get to see how wide it is.

If I had to guess, the arms are just way too large/long (due in part the weapon sizes), but it would be closest to a BK that has its arms slimmed down from the sides...

Are the two stove pipes part of side torsos, or cosmetic? Will still wait until they announce the quirks. Not worth buying without all the early adopter awards. Not worth keeping if there are no armor and structure quirks for the main points that can carry weapons. Hopefully they won't get stingy like they did for the Archer.

Of course, I only bought the base pack because I'm waiting to see what they do with it. I do pretty well In the Cicada, mostly due to speed and no weapons in the arms. So I can strip them. I hated the Blackjacks. I can't seem to produce that magic lag armor in such a slow mech. Seen plenty of others that can though. So this is debatable right now.

I guess this is PGI's way of trying to prevent the Pixie from making the Vindi obsolete?

Ignore for a second the fact that the Vindi is made obsolete by almost everything else already...

Maybe we can get a new hanging item that is bright orange and says "WIDE LOAD" but instead of being in the cockpit, it can be hung on these mechs' ***.

The Blackjack is the eternal king. You fools should have already known when the hardpoint info was released that the hawk was junk. Also the BJ-2 is coming for even higher alpha.

pry those upper arm wings off. Does a 45 Tonner with arm-weaponry really need them to be so easily hit from all angles?

Yeah the arms are really too big. Probably have to either shrink it, or same height, but slimmer width. I'd probably go with shrinking it though.

Well, the Phoenix Hawk is almost as tall as but much slimmer than the Griffin. Has the Griffin been shrunk down already though?

Looking at the first picture, I can't help but think the Marauder is too small... There is a bulk difference between the Phoenix Hawk (45t) and the Gryphon (55t), about as much as I'd expect. Either way I'm keeping my Phoenix Hawks.
