"Skillcrow" is so called from very long ago, good for the ones who lack of aiming skill, and good enough vs lights only.
I lost the count in how many skillcrows I've killed using crabs and centurions
Very fun, indeed

Anyway, it is the same as many times before. Pinpoint trumps any scattered damage given equal terms.

Oh look a brag post from Sader. Like it would have been a different outcome with you 4 in the Steak Boats. Leader of MS, 2 of it's top pilots, and Sader.
100% agree. I, as a regular player, am incapable of focusing legs. I just can't do it. I actually can't hit anything at all. Really, most of MWO for me is complaining on the forums and buying mech packs to fill out my garage..

That doesn't make for an interesting game.
fortunately trebuchet 7M with 30 Lrms and modules can shell a stormcrow to bits before the latter can close.
So it will be useful if non ecm builds to stormcrow are shared
I run Jenner IICs and the occasional Arctic Cheetah for scouting. I'll admit, I've ran a Streak Crow once or twice as well, but they are way too slow for me in scouting. I like the Cheetah for it's ECM, but then its too slow compared to a Jenner IIC. I wish I could put ECM on a Jenner IIC, but oh well.

Eliminate Streak Crows from scouting altogether.

I can't count the amount of times people run in thinking its a Skillcrow because they are not paying attention.. Only to get splat with A-SRM6 madness.
Edit: Also -

Nonsense .
Skilled fast IS Runners - ie LCTs, CMDs - can simply avoid StreakCrows . Works really well when gathering . Apart from that, there ARE counters for StreakCrows in Scouting Missions . That you have not figured them out yet means nothing...apart from you being too narrowminded

Remember, the Game is what YOU make it guys . If you choose to play Scouting like Skrimish/TDM....thats what it is going to be for you . In reality though, MW:O provides several 'Mechs that work, for either Side, depending on whether you gather/defend, and how you want to play it .

Absolutely. My point was more along the lines of too many people choose to play Scouting (and everything else) like Skirmish. The reason they do so is that it is easy, and the scoring system encourages it further. I am of the opinion that if you are gathering intel, you should seek to avoid detection and thus engagement.

Even if you have guys running Pirates Bane, they can win 50% of all matches by their self because all they have to do on Scout missions is run to the drop ship and as soon as they touch the dropship zone its instant win.
There are 2 IS 55 tonner mediums that runs ECM and boats 4 SRM's that destroys streak crows 1 on 1, and when running flocks, complete shut the streak crow down from being able to fire their streaks.

Honorable mention is a 40 tonner that outruns the Streakcrows by 20 KPH, outranges them with ERLL by a good 300M range and oh also runs ECM. It can come in, mix up denying streakcrows locks, and then run away if taking damage and act as an ERLL sniper and pick the streakcrow to pieces at its leisure.

I was scouting against this same group over and over that had a Griffin and a Raven with ECM and I could never get a lock with my Streaks to deal any damage at all with them. So, I changed my kit and I've got 24 SRMs now (Non-Streaks). I met them in battle and destroyed two them myself (two kills, most damage dealt, one of them a solo kill).
I didn't (actually) cry that ECM is too powerful! Whaaaaaaa! I changed my kit. I adapted. They throw rock, I'll throw power. They throw paper, I'll throw scissors. If you're seeing a lot of Streak Crows, then adapt. Kit Large Lasers and LRMs. In fact, I've already been seeing mechs with Large Lasers and LRMs in scouting.
No one says you have to use all SRMs and Small Lasers in scouting. And besides this event, no one says you have to kill when you're gathering intel.
I change my mech depending on whether I'm gathering or protecting, and what my team mates are showing or saying they're going to take. I see an enemy doing something that's hurting me a lot, I change my complete load out and compinsate. I don't go crying on the forums for them to nurf it. There are already plenty of counters to the Streak Crow. The Streak Crow puts all its eggs in one basket. All you need to do is learn how to knock that basket over and start stomping eggs!
Are you that uninformed? ECM is getting countered and then the OP Streak Crows wipe everyone out. The nerf is coming and there is nothing you can do to stop it. You can't have a game that lets one mech dominate. its idiotic. Go to 45 tons for Clan scouting and 65 for I.S. That is much more balanced. Then you can learn to adapt.

Yes, the biggest thing the Clan side should be able to bring is Shadow Cats, while the IS gets heavies. Perfect balance. 10/10, no problems here.
