But PGI, the required amount for completed games are a bit too steep. Lower it to 4 - 5 / 6 of what each step require (except the first one ofcourse). Like invasion matches played from 30 to 20.
At least lower it for new players sake. Vets and Mech hoarders will just have another to grind through or something. But for new players it will be very rewarding. Maybe hook in more Steam players for example.

And yes, very bitter about oceanic deadzone.. ..especially since the invasion deadline is 11pm AEST, that is 9pm for WA.. ..aint nobody got time for capturing planets then.

This is the sort of ******** that happens when you insist on having symmetrical warfare. This isn't 'balance'. Its ********, and its definitely not Battletech anymore.

Since I have the same or better versions of those grand prizes sitting in my mechbay ( (I) instead of (C) ). There is not much incentive for me to play Torture warfare... um faction warfare i mean.
If you think i'm going to play with hordes of LRM20 trials in more than a hundred matches... only to be tortured, think again.

Why so salty?
Maybe because PGI should change the rules to FW a bit.
I just don't know through what channel i should tell them that 4 empty mechbays per new accounts is so 2012 when the game only had 5 mechs.
Give new accounts 8 mechbays and instead make having 4 OWNED mechs as a requirement to play FW.
As long as you just want to flood the FW mode with any and every player out there... it WON'T WORK!... those people will run away after their first FW match and never come back!

Paulconomy was designed to torture us whales and BT fans. We are going to play your game no matter how much you torture us.
However the average gamer that you game need so much is going to run away if you torture them.

I do feel ya though, requirement to play CW 4 mech, new accounts only get 4 bays. Trials are better then they used to be tho.
Plus, master a mech require 3 mechs. Doesnt leave much room after youve mastered one, and sell the other 2, to master another. Then after that, it's only 2 mastered, and 2 trials.
Unless you keep selling them all, and eventually get 4 mastered mechs, its possible. Takes some time.
But you have to rebuy them again >.>

Each sell is a 50% loss of value in cbills.
letting them have 8 bays from the get go, prevents them from trying FW prematurely (to farm rank2 mechabys). Also, with the sheer number of available chassis right now, it makes it possible for them to plan a nice drop deck.... without having to sell everything anytime they want to master a new mech
