One of the things MWO does a lot better than MWLL. A lot of their mechs were pretty stupid looking.

To bad those claws just look like an absurdly large blood drawing needle and not a Kodiak's claws.

As we all know, bears have retractable claws.

rule of cool smokes science, beeyotch.

Else we wouldn't be using ludicrously inefficient stompy robot tanks that can neither kneel, for straighten their arms.

If there is a sound associated with this feature that is audible to those near by, Blake help us but that will get annoying when you have folks running around extending and retracting their "claws" for the first half of the match.

Snikt, snakt, snikt, snakt...over, and over, and over.

Although... this would be a pretty awesome way to announce your presence to your teammates. Quick and easy way to say "if you don't move that rust bucket so my 100-ton *** can get to where the hurtin' is goin' down imma shove these claws straight up your fusion core waste port."

Snikt, Snakt.

Do you actually think a clanner would know what a real Kodiak looks like? It's based on the animal clan Ghost Bear was named after, not some animal from Earth that's probably gone extinct long before the fall of the Star League.

Space bears... at least 36% more deadly than plain ol' bears.

And neither are even as remotely as dangerous as Space Ostriches!

I had zero interest in the Kodiak before. After seeing this, I think I need one just so I can run around playing with the claws Posted Image
